MVMCP-Snow?

Tell me about the snow. I don't want to miss it. We live in Houston and my kids have only seen snow once, which they can't remember.
Is the snow from an actually snow machine? When does it snow, just a 7:00 or for all night? And it just on Main Street, right?

It snows the entire party the full length of mainstreet. Really something to see. Unfortunately it is not REAL snow. Not sure what it is, some one else may know but it is not snow. I think I read some where once it was made with soap.

We live in NY and have seen or share of snow. That being said, as long as you don't eat the snow you won't know it is fake.

We've been there for MGM, lights and snow and have heard its a by product of some soap substance, really watch to not get any in the eyes, burns like crazy, but other than that and we're from northeastern Ohio and see enough snow, its real pretty to see in WDW.

It is very cool but just looks like snow flurries. It is not snow that accumulates where your kids could play in it. I don't think you will leave feeling like "now we have seen real snow", if you know what I mean.

The snow both on Main St for MVMCP and at MGM for the Osborne Lights are more like a light snow falling. Nothing accumulates at all, but it is a pretty cool effect. DS enjoyed jumping around tryting to catch the snow flakes as the fell on Main St.

It is some sort of modified bubble machine that instead of blowing bubbles it blows snow flakes. Some kind of soap substance. It certainly serves its purpose in helping celebrate the time of year.
