We will be at WDW 11/30 to 12/10. We bought tickets to MVMCP through our travel agent and received with our package 4 tickets. Where and when do we covert these tickets to the wristbands?

Also DD9 and DN9 have no clue that we have tickets to MVMCP, in fact we lied and told DD9 that we couldn't get tickets because they were already sold out. Does anybody have any suggestions on how we can "trick" them. We are planning on spending the entire day at MK starting with breakfast at Crystal Palace. We need ideas on luring the kids to the car to get our surprise Christmas hats and jackets without them complaining that we are leaving the park before it closes. We have dinner reservations at Tony's for 5:45pm so we need to head to the car around 3-3:30.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you have.

Hmm..maybe you could tell them you left your ADR confirmation number in the car?? You need to go get film... or you could stash your surprise in a locker. Put them in a tote bag with a sweat shirt on top so they can't see.
I remember reading that you can ask a CM where the ticket/wristband exchange is.

any other ideas? the kids are smart/bright for 9 year olds. any and all ideas a plus. thanks

How about telling them that you have dinner reservations off site at one of the dinner theaters? Or maybe that you aren't feeling well? I'm not sure who all is in your party but the idea of someone breaking off at some point to go and get the other items and placing them in a locker or bringing them to the rest of the party is a good idea! I hope you are able to surprise them!

Have a great time! :wizard:

If you exit the park and reenter after 4:00, you can get the wristbands at the turnstiles. I know you can exchange your tickets for wristbands in front of the castle and probably at City Hall.

We leave in 22 days, does anybody have any other suggestions?

I like the idea of renting a locker and putting the stuff there. You could maybe carry it in a backpack so the kids wouldn't see it.

Locker idea makes the most sense. One of you can leave Tony's, bathroom break, and go to the lockers to get the stuff. Put the stuff in the bottom of some type of bag. Have ponchos and maybe generic sweatshirts on top.

If you're very concerned split up when you go through security. I can't think of an excuse to go back to the car.

If you don't think you can pull it off as soon as you get to the MK gate remember that you left film in the car. One of you goes back to the car, gets the stuff, gets a locker and then meets up with the family at CP for breakfast. You can even "discover" you left your film in your car just as the rest of your family is boarding the parking lot tram.

I would no more want to leave the park to pull off the surprise. Put the stuff in the locker at the start of the day. Tell the kids you are leaving after dinner and pause at the exit for an extra few minute to see if you can possibly get a glimps of the snow. Have one adult go to the locker area and get your things and then return with a mickey santa hat and ticket for each. You can then get the wrist band from inside the park and not have to wait in line again.

OR OR OR OR Carry the tickets in your pocket and slip them to a princess that does not have too many people waiting. Let her tell the girls that they are her guests for the night. Or tell them what wonderful parents/aunt/uncle they have for letting you come to the Christmas Party. I would make certain that there is no chance on them being handed to someone else. Maybe you could have a character/cm at Tonys tell the girls.

I love being crafty. I still need to figure out a way to tell my kids (turning 4&6) that they are going to WDW for their birthdays. I have 5 more days to get a good sneaky plan.

thanks sooooo much for all of your suggestions. i believe a locker it will be. dw can just carry the stuff in her bag and while she and the girls are in townhall getting a birthday button i can snag a locker.
