Are all of the shops open during the party? I've also heard that you can get in at 4 pm, is that correct?

What is NOT open during the party that we should ride beforehand?

You can get into the park starting at 4pm, and all of the shops that I saw were open.

PP is correct--entry at 4p with only your party ticket. As for rides, I believe only Carousel of Progress and Jungle Cruise are the only rides not open during the party.

Tiki Room and the Liberty Bell don't run either.

yes all the shops are open, MIL #1 goal was to shop MK to death on our trip and she spent most of MVMCP shopping. She loved it b/c the shops were not busy and she was one of a handful in the Emporium for the first hour of the party. Even though we paid a premium price for the party she still feels she got her money's worth by shopping without crowds.
