MVMCP Question

We're going to WDW from December 17 - 26. I planned to go to the MK on December 17 and 18. Now I see that MVMCP is on Dec 18. Is my understanding correct that we will have to leave the MK at 7:00 pm on Decmber 18 when the MVMCP starts? I really don't want to pay almost $200 more for the 5 of us to stay. Oh well, I guess we hop over to Epcot that night.

The park closes to the general public at 6:00 on MVMCP nights.

I've checked the historical hours and MK is only open until 8:00 on regular nights in the middle of December. Unless it's MVMCP night, then it's open to party people later.

MGM closes at 7:00 in mid December, and AK at 5:00, unless it's EMH night. Didn't know if you knew the parks closed earlier that time of year anyway. You'd miss a couple hours, but not like you do in the summer when it's open later.The only park with year round consistent closing time is Epcot which is always open until 9:30 (World Showcase) unless it's EMH, and then the whole park is open later (to resort guests only). Anyway, just so you know that even on a "regular" night, in December you couldn't stay as long as you do now.

Usually the park closes on MVMCP nights at 6PM when aall guests except those staying for the christmas party will be asked the leave....the ones staying for the party will be asked to head to usually Tommorrowland....You must have a wrist band to stay in the park due to all the special shows, Parade, Fireworks, Cookies and Cocoa....Its a nice event to do once or twice....but last year was so crowded when we went we dont plan on going for a while...It was a waste of money to only do a couple of things....The year before that was great we were able to see and do what we wanted....But to answer the question you will be asked to leave the park on Party night....they were pretty strict on that
