MVMCP question........

Since there's already a lot of talk about MVMCP I thought I'd ask a question I've been wondering about... I've heard both versions & wondering how it really works.... do they keep MK open and then MVMCP just starts up at the specified hour, OR do they actually close the park early (I thought I read 5 somewhere) and then re-open MK for MVMCP??? Thanks for the info.............. I'm planning a family trip for the 1st week of December and would just like to know ahead of time what to expect.

You can enter as early as 4:00pm with just your MVMCP ticket. You get a wristband as you enter, or if you are already in the park with a regular ticket they pass them out in front of the castle or in city hall after they check your MVMCP ticket. At 6:00, they close down most everything except Tomorrowland and ask the day guests to exit. If you have a wristband, you do not have to exit. The rides are open in Tomorrowland, as well as a picture station, they check for wristbands. At 7:00 everything reopens.

If you have a MVMCP ticket- you can enter the MK at 4:00. You are given a wrist band that indicates you are a 'party goer'. Anybody without a wrist band is politely encouraged to leave at 6:00 pm. The MK hours are posted that it closes at 6:00 pm.

Any 'party goers' who are in the park at 6:00 are sent over to Tomorrowland where the rides are open and they have an early performance of one of the Christmas shows at the theater area over in Tomorrowland. While most of the people are over in Tomorrowland, the CMs quickly set the rest of the park up for the party which starts at 7:00.
