MVMCP question

We(2A,3C-11,8,3) will be arriving in FL on Dec 7 around 2pm and would like to do the Christmas party. Do you think we have time to get to hotel, check in and get to the party? What time can we go into the park if we do not have regular park tickets? I'm worried if I buy tickets before we go and we have any delays, we won't get there in time. How much more are tickets at the gate? Can we order tickets once we arrive in Orlando and pick them up somewhere? Sorry about all the questions, but I sure don't want to spend all that money and not get to go. Thanks.

you will have plenty of time to get to your hotel and get checked in. The MVMCP does not start until 7:00 so you will be fine.
It is my understanding that you will be able to enter the park with just your MVMCP ticket after 5:00, and not have to use your regular park hopper ticket.
Tickets purchased in advance are $36.95 plus tax for adults and $26.95 plus tax for children 3-10. If you buy them the day of the event they are 42.95 and 32.95 plus tax. If you arrive on the day of the event, I do not think that you can get the advanced price cost.
You can order them now and they will mail them to you, the mailing is $3.00 extra per order or you can ask them to hold them and you can pick them up at the park the day you arrive.

Thanks for the information. I'm a little nervous about spending that much money in case we have a weather problem with the flight. Thanks again.

I think your caution is understandable and wise. Two years ago I had a flight out of Allentown that was supposed to leave around 7am. It was delayed because the crew needed to rest from hitting a snow storm down south the night before, and further delayed because that same storm arrived in PA and proceeded to dump snow on us. After 3 de-icings, we took off and landed in Sanford. I was able to make it to the MVMCP that night. If I had a later flight and it was delayed, I would not have made it.

Since the MVMCP you want to attend is a Tuesday night, I don't think the tickets will sell out.

BTW, that MVMCP I attended....ended up being rained out!!! So weather can also be a good incentive for waiting until that night to purchase.

Actually you can get in after 4 with your MMVMCP tickets...
