And I loved that Stitch was on the float with Santa!!!! They didn't do that in Disneyland.

Another great set of pictures Dave - I can almost hear the music - thanks

What kind of camera do you have...your pictures are awesome. Mine always turn out crappy.

Nancy
Lionking has a "REAL" camera......my Dh drooled over it the entire time we were at DIS CON......

REAL here means professional quality.......

That was a wonderful parade! Your photos are just wonderful, Dave. Thanks for the memories :)

LOL Kim - there were lots of people "drooling" over Dave's camera during Dis Con!

Well, accurately speaking, the Nikon D100 is an advanced amateur camera. The professional Nikon Digital SLRs run about 4500 dollars just for the camera body. The Nikon D100 is a relative steal at 2000 dollars for the body. The main advantage is the quality of the flash I can use and the myriad of interchangeable lenses that are very high quality.

But the big secret is that I take lots and lots of pictures and I probably post only 1 in 5.

Just like any serious hobby..... You have practice and know what happens during the show so that you are prepared to get the shot you want.....

I sat through two parades and watched a my video from last year of the Celebrate the Season show.

But sometimes, I am just lucky.....

Thanks for the great pics -- mine are nowhere near as good. I just bought a Canon G2 and my DH really wants the D100 -- I better not show him these:)

Those pictures make me want to be back there so badly - I can almost hear the music in my head and feel the excitement when I see these great shots Dave!

Thanks for the pics TLK. I haven't downloaded mine from my camera yet - I know...bad December99!!!!! :D

We saw this parade on Christmas day in 1999 but it was so much better at night when I saw it on the 8th!!!! And I too loved Stitch on the float with Santa!!!

for more great pictures......of course I was home by then..............
