MVMCP or Star Wars Dessert Party

Hopefully I am on the correct thread for my question. We are coming to Disney for 11 nights in December. I have two hard ticket events I can't decide on and I do not want to purchase both. We attended the Magic Kingdom garden view dessert party which was terrible back in September. I have read reviews and watched you tube videos about the Star Wars dessert party and it looks much better with the character meet and greets, better desserts, alcohol and a great show. MVMCP looks amazing as well with the beautiful snow on Main Street and celebrations of Christmas in Magic Kingdom. What do you think if you can only attend one is the must do!

Of the two, I would do MVMCP. It's a whole evening of rides, shows, a parade, fireworks, cookies, cocoa and meet and greets. The Star Wars party is nice, but it's just a fireworks dessert party. It's inside, there are no chairs, ok desserts and savory options, alcohol, you get a gift and the Stormtroopers briefly walk through the room. You happen to be in the room where the meet and greet lines are, but you stand in line for the characters along with the general public, so there really isn't any special advantage there. You are very close to the show, as well, so you do miss some of the projections, the sound is a bit distorted and you miss one of the bigger special events at the end.

I have done both. I agree with the PP. MVMCP is much better than the Star Wars dessert party.
