I'm like some opinions on the MVMCP. Always wanted to see all the decorations so I finally arranged a trip for December. I'm torn about the MVMCP though. Is this something adults would enjoy? From what I've read about it - it seems to be centralized around Main Street with character greetings and special parades. Is this significantly different from the characters I'd see there during the day? Or the parade I'd see during the day? Are their extra decorations or anything?

We're torn between doing this and seeing La Nouba. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Here is a good rundown on MVMCP......

There is a lot more than just Main Street, lots of special shows too. The parade, if earlier in the month, is a special Christmas parade, totally different than the afternoon parade. As it gets close to Christmas, the afternoon parade is the same one as the party parade. The decorations would be the same, other than the 'snow' on Main Street, that only during the party.

La Nouba is fabulous too, having seen that 3 times now. But have been to probably 10 parties over the years too. Both are great evenings of entertainment. If you are there during the holiday season, and can do one or the other, I think I might do MK during the day and La Nouba and dinner for an evening. In either case, you will have a great time, enjoy.

We are going for the first time in November and from what I understand the parade on those nights are different. Also you have the Christmas themed shows that you can only see during the party, snow on main street, the decorations and you still go on rides. I'd love to go to La Nouba also but our boys are too young. It seems like you'd enjoy yourself either way, I'm sure you'll get some great responses!

We did both last year. For our family La Noumba was the #1 vacation item (next to being at WDW) DD even loved it more than the princess tea party w/ Aurora. Dh will not go back to MVMCP, for him it was silly to spend that much extra money to ride the same rides that were a little longer (but not much) waits during the day. The shows seemed very busy and DD had no interest in watching shows as we had spent the day before in MGM. It was okay but I will not push anyone to go do it, it wasnt that wonderful to us.

If you think you would like Cirque (check out their website for some clips if you have never seen a show) please go see it!!!! We are hooked on Cirque and even took a trip to Chicago to see Corteo this summer. We had catagory 2 seats and they are wonderful (and a little cheaper) since alot of La Noumba also takes place up in the air.
