MVMCP or extra night stay?

Trying to decide if we should attend the last night of the MVMCP or add an extra night to the end of our stay? We currently have Free Dining - so the extra night would be room only - so we would have to pay for our food that day. I guess my question is the MVMCP worth it? There are 2 adults and 2 teens, 15 and 13 years old. Airfare is the same price no matter which day we return home.

We'll be going to our 1st MVMCP after having such a great time at MNSSHP last year it became a priority to go and we can't wait! You can have an "extra night" any other trip but MVMCP is offered for such a limited time, I think I would choice the party?!

i would stay the extra day. i wouldn't care to go to the party so would only want the extra fireworks. we pay so much for the holiday and park hoppers, i couldn't justify more $ for it. our last night we dined at the california grill at the contemporary resort and were able to catch the spectacular view from there (music is piped into the restaurant as well). we have same reservation booked this year, just have cross referenced it to see if it's a mvmcp date. fingers crossed!!

I think that I would add an extra night and skip the party. As much as I enjoy it, I think the better value is in extra park time. WIshes is gorgeous, so what you could do as part of teh compromise is schedule dinner at onof the monorail resorts. I like Narcoossees, but if a signature meal is not in the budget, you could plan Kona, or the Grand Floridian Cafe, or 1900 Park Fare (I love this one! The Tremaine family is always fun!) and then walk out to the Marina or to the front porch at Narcoossees (yes, this is okay) and enoy Wishes.

My family always approaches a Disney vacation as if there will be another. There may not be, but the bottom line is that you cannot work it all in, and so we compromise on what we want to experience. We have not been sorry.

I would vote for the extra night. Once the party is over they have the Christmas parade and fireworks each night. Enjoy
