MVMCP on sale now!

OK...I wasn't dreaming. I found this on the Mousesavers site...

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is held after the regular closing of Magic Kingdom and requires separate admission. (However, unlike E-Ride Nights, you need not have paid admission on the same day to the Magic Kingdom in order to attend the special after-hours event.)

Admission to the event includes a family photo, souvenir button, free hot chocolate and cookies, "snow" on Main Street, holiday stage shows, carolers, two performances of the holiday parade, and a special fireworks display. Plus, most of the major attractions will be open.

In 2005 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be held November 27 and 29, December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 20. The event is held from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Starting in 2005, Annual and Seasonal Passholders will qualify for a 25% off discount on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets, when purchased the night of the event ONLY. Note that in the past, some weekend nights sold out in advance, so don't count on being able to get the discount for all nights.

There are advance purchase discounts on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets for the general public. I will update this section when 2005 tickets become available, probably in May or June 2005. Call (407) W-DISNEY to order.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is held on selected nights in October each year, after the regular closing of Magic Kingdom (7:00 pm to midnight), and requires separate admission.

Admission to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party includes a family photo, trick-or-treating for adults and kids, costume parades for little ones, character meet-and-greets, fortune tellers, Halloween riverboat ride, two performances of a unique holiday parade, and a special fireworks display. Attendees can wear costumes (subject to a few rules based on safety and appropriateness). Plus, most of the major attractions are open.

In 2005 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be offered on September 30, October 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31. The event is held from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Starting in 2005, Annual and Seasonal Passholders will qualify for a 25% off discount on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets, when purchased the night of the event ONLY. Note that in the past, Friday nights and October 31 sold out in advance, so don't count on being able to get the discount on those nights.

There are advance purchase discounts on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets for the general public. I will update this section when 2005 tickets become available, probably in May or June 2005. Call (407) W-DISNEY to order.

I used the 800# and got all my tickets!
Can you tell me where to find the 800#? And does anyone know the hours that I can reach a person at this number in order to purchase my MVMCP tickets? TIA!

WOOHOO!!

I am so excited!! This will be our first MVMCP...we can hardly wait! I just have to order our tickets! I can't decide though...should we go the very first night we arrive, 12/18 or go on the last night 12/20? Any thoughts???

Am I understanding the part about discounts correctly? The AP discount applies only to tickets purchased onsite and only applies to certain nights? There are no DVC discounts available?

Thanks for your help!

There are no discounts on party tickets EXCEPT the new (this year) Annual Pass discount of 25% on the tickets of only certain nights and the discount is on the GATE PRICE but they are letting AP holders buy them now and not the "day of".

I think they open at 7a.m.

I am really confused now. LOL Does anyone know if the information I posted, from Mousesavers, is correct? Can I buy tickets, with my AP, the day of the party and receive 25% off? The dates for the advanced AP discount don't work for us. The only night we're there, when the discount is offered, is the 4th, the day we arrive after being up since 4am!

The discount is available NOW but only for select dates and that's it. No other nights. Sorry.

I understand that I can get the discount now, for only select dates.

What I'm trying to find out is if the information I got, the 25% discount the day of, is going to be honored.

I believe it will be honored for only those select days until the party sells out. It's only available on select days...25% whether you buy them now or down there. It's select days no matter when you buy them.

When they said 'day of' they meant GATE PRICE. It's still select dates only.

November 29, December 1, 4 and 13

Hope I'm making sense.

Thank you. That's what I wasn't understanding. I thought I could go, any day they were having the party, and purchase my tickets and receive the 25% off the gate price.

With four tickets to buy, I think we're going to pass on the party. That's a lot of money. Is the party really worth paying over $40 when we already paid for park passes?

I guess it depends. It's certainly worth it to many people, including me but not to everyone.

It's the only place to see the Christmas parade, which alone is worth it to me! It's an extra 8 hours (they let you enter after 4:00p with just the party ticket) at Magic Kingdom in the off season. Its VERY festive and it's great hearing the Christmas music and seeing the snow on Main Street! The special Christmas shows are great. You get a free souvenir photo.

As you can see, I think it's worth it but it may not be worth it for everyone but I think that everyone should experience it at least once to see for themselves! ;)
