MVMCP Military discount tickets

I will be attending the first party on November 7th. I saw on a blog that that's one of the dates available for a military discount on tickets.
I called SOG and they dont have them and wont get them until October. Im afraid since its the first party, it will sell out. Do Military bases get the tickets now since they went on sale yesterday?
I dont want to risk waiting until October to buy them but its a good discount so I dont want to pay full price either.

You can check with others, but I heard that even with a sold out party, military tickets will be available and you can use them on that sold out night. I think in 2013, you could buy it, but it had to be for that night, and buy it at the MK GS outside of MK. The MK GS will charge you the military rate, with tax, and you must show military id.

We are going to buy our military tickets, hoping that they are for our party night, when we first get to WDW, about a week before the party. I am not worried, and appreciate the discount.

So excited, it will be the first time we are going to the party.

The other thing I forgot to mention, is last year, only the dates in September were discounted. Before you try to find a discount ticket, make sure your date is one of the one's that is discounted.

I know thats not this year current but I would assume its still the same. This is GREAT if they offer it!
