Okay all you MVMCP fans -- Convince me it's worth it to bring my 6 and 3 year old pay all that extra $$$$ and pay for the very late night the next day. It sounds nice but I don't want to get there and regret it. Here's our plan if we go. A nicce long nap after lunch. Dinner ressies in MK aroung 5:30 and hanng out until the party starts at 7:00. They'll probobly only last until 10:00. For those who have done this what do you think?

I'm a big party fan. I have 2 DDs ages 4 and 7 and they've gone to MVMCP twice and MNSSHP last year.

They usually fall asleep by the second parade and I wake up the older one for it. When our younger one was 2, she woke for it and loved it. Last year when they were 3 and 6 they didn't make it to the second parade again but our 6 year old was very sick...so we left after the parade and we tapped it for them.

They have a great time. THere's nothing like walking down Main Street with the decorations and snow falling and it being dark out....it's magical.

The free photo is a great souvenir of the occasion. I usually get ti done right away. We usually avoid the very crowded first parade and do rides or shows. The "Twas the Night Before Christmas" show is great. They bring out Cinderella's Carriage and put it behind the castle for photo ops with characters, usually Princesses.

There's the free hot choc and cookies too!

I think if you have them nap, they'll hopefully be raring to go!

We are big fans! We're going again this Dec 2 and then next year we're doing MNSSHP again!:)

We took our 3yo and then 11 month old to the party last December. Ofcourse we did not have to pay for the baby, but we all had a blast. We went on a Sunday night, so it was not too crowded. We rode all of the rides and saw the shows.

We headed over to MK about 4. Earlier in the day we had gone to Sea World and then took a good nap at the hotel. We had dinner and then head to Tomorrowland to wait for the party. the 3 year old was in heaven since Dumbo had no line. The baby was a trooper. She fell asleep in the stroller. After the parade and fireworks, we headed back to POFQ.

We would have stayed longer, but felt that the kids had fun. We got our picture taken and did the free cookie thing. The kids really loved it and we felt we got our money's worth.
