MVMCP - Fireworks/Parade Spot?

We are attending the second to last Christmas party in December. I imagine it will be sold out, so I'm trying to avoid Main Street for the fireworks and parade.

Can anyone recommend a spot not on Main Street where we can watch the holiday fireworks and then wait for the 10:30pm parade? We'd prefer a spot where we can sit on a curb or bench.

You really should to be in the HUB or at the southern end of Main St. to see THOSE fireworks, in particular.

But, if you DON"T want to be there (your really should be) then stand over in front of the entrance to the Riverboat queue.
There are rock walls on which to sit.
(But, from non-hub locations you won't be able to see the spectacular, not-to-be-missed show that is actually projected on the front of the Castle, "Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.)

The parade can be seen well from that area, too.

(But, if I was at the party, I'd really want see those special fireworks from front and center.)

Thanks Robo! I should have mentioned that we've seen Wishes from the HUB and my hubby and kiddo's can take or leave fireworks. I think the Riverboat queue will work out well since I was thinking about doing Big Thunder and Splash (with ponchos) before the fireworks.
