MVMCP Discount tickets

Talked to AAA today, and they are offering MVMCP tickets at a discount starting October 1. $7 off the price that WDW is asking. $21 more dollars in our pockets for fun at Disney. Just wanted to share this with you!!

While talking with the AAA rep. I found out some other great opportunities that AAA can do for me for the ride down. When we buy our MVMCP tickets, she is getting us a book of $5 worth of McD's gift certificates, and a promotional lanyard with wallet for our cards, keys, etc for each of us.

Call and ask your local office. I know I sound like a commercial for them, but we have gotten some great deals thru them. Is gotten really a word? Oh well

That's a nice little discount. The AP/DVC discount is only about $3 per ticket and that's limited to certain party dates.

I wonder if this will be a national offering or just certain regions? There are so many times that AAA South has great offers for WDW and those of us who are members of AAA MidAtlantic get nothing.

Is that $7 less than the pre-purchase price? If so, that is great. I will have to contact my AAA TA (we booked this trip with them) to see if they are offering it up here...

There was one for MNSSHP too if you bought your tickets thru AAA. but it was only certain dates.

I just got an email from my AAA TA and she said she doens't have ny discounts or lanyards or coupons! But, she asked for more details about the post and will call that local AAA to see if she can get them from there for me, so there may be hope!

Well, my AAA TA (i'm in CT) called her Disney rep and found out that this discount ticket is only offered from AAA South. She can't get it for me, but i am going to call AAA in Georgia on Friday (when I'm working at home) to see if I can order them.

She said they are only for certain nights, so it may not even work for our date, but I am going to find out!

What is the price you were quoted? She was told they are $3 - $4 less than the prepurchase price from Disney, but OP said $7 less....just wondering.

My rep. at AAA South said that they were the same discount that they got MNSSHP tickets for, which was $7 off of the list price.

Glad you double checked! When I said "she" I was referring to MY travel agent at AAA...not you!

I am hoping I can get the discount as well, so I'll post back after Friday when I find out.

Sweet!!! I'm in GA and will go to my AAA tomorrow if I can to buy the tickets. There are 4 adults and 1 paying child going and I'm hoping that the night we plan on going is one we can get discounts on. I was cringing at paying $254 for tickets originally.

Well, I called and got the prices. but, they didn't have the actual tickets yet, so I don't know if the date I want is one of the tickets they will be selling (they are only for select dates). I was told:

Adults: $52
Children: $46

The regular advance prices from Disney are $55.38 and $48.99, so these are only about $3 off the advance price. Day of prices are $62.84 and $56.45.

She told me to call back later today or early next week as they don't know when they will get the tickets and the dates.

I don't know if I will do this to save $12 or just get them from Disney so i can use my Visa Rewards....I will probably go with paying with the rewards as that would be an even better savings.

This is the same price you can already purchase tickets direct from disney on certain nights, how much did the OP purchase them for?? and for which nights were the discounts??

Advance purchase price-
Adults 10 and Up- $52.00 plus tax
Children 3-9 $46.00 plus tax

Just less the tax...

DVC and AP prices are cheaper... But some dates are blacked out...

Adults 10 and Up- $49.00 plus tax
Children 3-9 $43.00 plus tax


Does AAA not charge tax ?
