So, what are my fining options in MK during the party? I didn't notice any mention of table service restaurants being open during.
Do I need to make a reservation for before "park close" at 7?

I like taking a break for a nice sit down meal so I'm hoping I can pull this off. We'll be in the park from 4pm onward.
Also I'll be 6m preg by then so counter service greasy food will be a BAD idea lol

You can go at the Polynesian or Grand Floridian, it's near (and you can take boat or monorail). I had the luck to find Crystal palace for our party date but at 3:45pm (plenty of Time for interactions with Winnie and friends)

Best I can say - we have tickets for Nov 19.

As usual - we've booked Narcoossee's EARLY (5:30, I think?). We'll be grabbing the Monorail about 7:30 for the MK.... and enter JUST about the time the Bag Check Line from Hell tones down :).

I managed to snag a BOG dinner at 4:30 on our MVMCP night. Reservations were only available till 6pm.

Everything is booked for our date, but maybe counter service will be OK.

Diamond, Village Haus, Pecos or Tony's.

I read there's lots of holiday Snackies to try and that way I won't be so full.

I'll keep trying for an in-park reservation but otherwise these might be a backup.

Now I've got to go look for last year's snacks thread. Anyone know where it might be?

My plan is to hit up the Contempo Cafe before heading to the party on the 1st. Hopefully Aloha Isle is open for a snack during the party.

We usually do an in-park table service meal before the party. We've eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern twice and Crystal Palace once. Our reservations were for 4:00 and 5:00 at LTT. At CP we had a 3:45 ADR. We prefer to eat before 5:00 so we are finished before the party gets underway.

If you have not booked a TS meal, I would suggest counter service. Make sure you eat early so you do not miss valuable party time.

Last year we had an early 4:30pm dinner at 1900 PF and it was timed perfectly. We even explored the GF a little bit afterwards and then took the monorail over right before the party started. This year we are having dinner at BOG at 4:30pm before the party so we are very excited!

I highly recommend being IN the park long before 7, preferably at 4 when your ticket will let you in. Then you can be deep into the park when the traffic jam of people coming and going hits

Keep stalking the dining site. I bet you'll find something in the park in the 4-5 PM range.

What you don't want to do is spend one single minute of time after 7 PM sitting at a dinner table. You'll want to use all of that time to be doing the party things you paid for.

Not a bad plan.

That's a fine plan if your only goal is to avoid crowds.

I just would not give up a single moment of the time you paid for to experience party activities. If someone wants to meet some of the hard to meet characters (I'm assuming you don't) that first half hour (and the time right ahead of that lining up) is quite valuable.

We have brunch at CM at 1:20 on party day and plan to grab a quick bite to munch during the parade or whenever we finally feel hungry :) We aren't using our park tickets that day, so we feel we really need to be in the park at 4. Gotta squeeze those FP in!

We usually do 'Ohana for dinner at 5PM, then head over to MK for the party via monorail. This time, I am eating at The Wave at 5PM, then walking over to MK.

:P:P:P mon2rtk? Sandy and I are 63 :). We're going to let the younger folks enjoy those character meet & greets :). This will be about our eighth year running for MVMCP :). Sandy LOVES the Parade and Fireworks - we're happy with that :).

That's OK. We're all kids at Disney. ;)

I love the parade and fireworks too. I hope you have a great time! :santa:

We have a 4:30 reservation at the Plaza. We have never had dinner there so hoping it's good. Looking forward to the ice cream. Lol.
