MVMCP DECEMBER 4th Report

I went on the 4th and I didnt htink it was too bad unless you were on Main Street. We got a spot to watch the first parade just to the presidents side of the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland. We sat down right before they put up the ropes and we were right on them. 5 steps away were all the treats. The line was long when it first opend but after that it was fine. When the parade finsished, we walked over to the hub and although the curbs were all taken, we got a spot right behind a man and his 2 kids and had a great spot sitting down.

My only 2 complaints werre that we had to bug out earliy cuz the kid fell asleep after the fireworks (it was a long week and she is 7) and that Bullseye wasnt out when we were over there. We were told he wasnt feeling well and was seeing the vet but we did meet Jessie and Woody and all 4 Country Bears in the same Locale

Never again. I feel like it was a waste of money people were everywhere you could not get to the parade and I was there for both parades. No good spots anywhere to be found. The ride lines were so long. I never saw any snow or hot coco. I felt like a herd of animals and disneys way of getting more of our money by making it seem like you are missing out on something. Never again will I go to a hard ticket event.

I did have a good time had lunch at crystal palace. It was wonderful. I always try to find some good in everything. Crowds were heavy this week. Next year I will plan a slower week hopefully.

I agree. I was there on the 4th and expected no crowds. I was getting bumped into left and right on main street. Didn't get a spot to see the snow either. Once we got off main street we were right on the rides, but I was so upset about getting knocked down by some rude man that I lost my magical experience. Never again for me as well.:sad2:

We were there on the 4th as well. I was going to freak when I saw that it was sold out. On a Tuesday? Come on! That's why I picked that day!

Main Street was packed for the castle lighting. We then walked on to Jungle Cruise. Went to Pirates, but it was down with "technical difficulties". We pretty much walked on to just about everything. The only thing we didn't walk onto was Astro Orbiter. I wouldn't have done it except on of the girls in my group had never done it so I took her. It wasn't long. The rest of my group went and did Space Mountain and were back before we were done.

And they were checking wristbands on every ride that we walked on to. But we left around 9:30-10pm so maybe later they were more lax.

I have to say there were way more people than I thought there would be and while it was manageable, it was not the pleasantness I expected.

we will be in disney this friday and can't wait!! we are going to the party on the 18th. we went to the halloween party back in oct. and had a blast and was so glad we went. we watched our videos the other night of the parade and it got me so excited about going to the christmas party. this is my 1st year to go to the extra parties and we have enjoyed them! i always have fun at my happy place!!!:santa:

We were there that night and it was packed. We saw both parades and the fireworks which was nice and after the fireworks we just walked into CP and ate all the cookies, cocoa, apples and juice we wanted. They kept giving it to us like they were trying to get rid of it. It was nice to do it once but we're not going to do it again. We prefer the Halloween party instead.
