MVMCP Dates RELEASED!!!

Disney won't close MK early for Parties during the most crowded time of the year. They will run the MVMCP shows and parade daily from December 19th - 31st.

Elsa's Castle Lighting show ended on January 12th this year.

You meant Cinderals castle right. Elsa has to go away soon or later.

I'm nervous about buying the party tickets. That means the date is final and no more moving the trip around/park days. It's still so far away.

Is there any way to plan out which party days will sell out vs which will not?

The MVMCP has always started the first friday of November and a lot of people were anticipating going Nov 6th. Instead they are starting it on Sunday. I absolutely love this party and it is the only event I would actually pay the additional cost to go to. It has been the highlight of my trips and in 2014, the night of our party was not sold out and the park was just empty and made it so much more enjoyable! Waiting for April now. I like choosing and settling on a date right away and purchasing the day they go on sale.. waiting for the tickets in the mail adds to the excitement and cures the pain of waiting for the trip a bit.

I agree!!

Whew!!!! I leave on the 9th ill get in on the first party of the year

I am sooo excited! We will be there for mine ad DD's actual bday (same day) and they are having a party night on our bday! I was hoping this would happen as I really wanted to go to the party on our bday.

Now this isn't until December for us. If one of these people going to the first party wanted to be nice and come home and post a picture of the party map and info I would love you forever!

There's no reason to buy them when they first go on sale. Nights don't begin to sellout until the fall.

I'm going December 5 to 11 and don't plan to buy mine until close to the date, I want to see the weather forecast. I've always been able to get them, if there's a sellout for those dates it's last minute.

Xmas parties start the 8th of November???? Way to suck the life right out of the season Disney. I thought having Halloween parties in September was over the top, wow. I'm sure they've been doing this for a while and I just didn't notice. So, how far into a January do they leave the lights up for now? Maybe I'll try to plan a trip before the crane takes up residency at the castle.

They have. You didn't. ;)

We'll be there there 11/26-12/4. Don't think there's a better way to end a Holiday vacation than with our first MVMCP!!!

Very glad to see these dates.

We've been DVC members for 20+ years but have always visited WDW either in Summer, October or Jan/Feb... this year we are planning or first ever trip to see the decorations and do MVMCP.

We're going on a holiday cruise out of Tampa starting on 12/19 and I booked early morning flights and one night at WDW for the pre-cruise portion of our trip in hopes Disney would hold to form and have the last MVMCP on Friday the 18th.

So happy to see that they have - and the risk I took locking in airfare a few weeks before the date announcement was all good (we saved over $600 for the four of us - about 33% of the airfare - by booking our flights already).

That savings now more than pays for the MVMCP pre-cruise day - and leaves us some more money to spend when we get back to Orlando after the cruise for "week two"!

Well, since DisneyParks Blog is an official source, I would go with no. ;) Besides, it's a Monday, and they typically only have Monday parties on Columbus Day (MNSSHP) and maybe if Veterans Day falls on a Monday.
