MVMCP - Dance Party and Greetings during Parade

Hi all. Does anyone know if they suspend character greetings and the Dance Parties during the Parades? I imagine they must, can't have kids leave Woody's dance party just in time to see him go by in the parade.

What about the Celebrate show - are the characters that appear in that also pulled from elsewhere in the park so they are not in two places at once?

Just curious for planning purposes. While the parade I'm not at is going on I want to see what else there is for me to do at the park. I don't want to waste my time going to see the princesses with my daughter if they are all going to go 'on break' for 45 minutes while the parade is moving.

Any advice from those of you who have been there before? What have you done during the parade (aside from rides)?

I can answer part of the question about the parade. Not all characters are pulled during the parade. For instance, the princesses/princes, mickey and minnie, and fairies do meet and greets all night.

The dance parties go on all night but the characters won't be there for the during the parade.

Someone was nice enough to post my question on another thread and mickeyhunter was kind enough to answer. Hope this helps!
