MVMCP- Crowds, Strategies and Tips!

We are attending our first MVMCP on 12/10. Although I truly love MK, I always find it to be the most *stressful* (least leisurely) park, because in our experience, it is the most chaotic due to larger crowds, longer wait times, etc.

I'm *hoping* MVMCP will be slightly less chaotic... can you share your experiences on the crowd levels, expectations for whether/what we will be able to ride with minimal wait times, tips for making the most of that time?

We are 2 adults (no kids). We do not plan to be in the park at 4 PM, rather we have a dinner reservation at WL for 5:00 and will likely make it to the party shortly before 7 PM. The only must do for us is the parade during the party, we're open to any and all suggestions for making the most of the party time!

Depending on where you are in the park, it will vary from chaotic to nearly empty. Main St and the Castle area is crazy, especially leading up to the 1st parade and fireworks. And I mean crazy. As crowded as I've ever seen it in the MK. But Tomorrowland is pretty empty. The circus area where the Dumbo ride is will be really empty. Fantasyland still will be a little crowded as the 7 Dwarfs will be there. Frontierland will be crowded because the parade starts there. People get their spots so that they can see the floats emerge from the backstage area outside of Pecos Bills. Adventureland will be pretty empty.
