MVMCP being sold out???

We are going to disney from 10-18th.

We want to go to MVMCP on the 16th. Do you think tickets will be sold out by the 9 or 10th? It is just a Tuesday...

How many of the MVMCP's sold out last yr and what were their dates?

I understand that we can call early and get tickets but we feel this would be more relaxed, to buy them the first day we enter the MK. So hopefully you guys can answer the questions above.

I can tell you from our experience last year that the Friday night MVMCP seem to sell out first. Last year there was an awful lot of rain the week we were there and a couple of the MVMCPs were a washout. They weren't cancelled, but a lot of activities were. Some guests were compted tickets for the night we were there and there was a sign at the entrance to the parking lot that the activity for that night was SOLD OUT.

We bought our tickets for this year a LONG time ago!
We are going to be there about the same time you are!

If it sells out I would be happy not to be there, it will be too crowded to enjoy anything. It was crowded enough for us when it wasn't sold out. It's something I won't do again.

It's always a fun evening. I have been to them every year the past four years (a couple years twice) and will be doing again this year, on the 4th.

If you are saying you want to relax, I can;t think of anything better than having them ahead of time, out of the way, and assured, rather than concerned about them. Just a thought.

We dont have time to order them. They wouldnt make it here before we went. We are leaving for a family trip first, on thursday.

Ordering stuff is a big trouble this close to the trip. We ordered some pins for trading and they arent gonna make it here in time so we have to go through all this worry and trouble.

Does anyone know how many of the Tuesday MVMCP's sold out last yr?

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to order your tickets now by phone and then pick them up at guest services when you get to WDW. I'd call 407-WDW-DISNEY and ask.

I think you could still call or order them online and have them held for you at will-call. You'd get the advance ticket price, at least, and you wouldn't have to stress about whether they sold out or not...

I called and checked, because by the time we KNOW we can go, it'll be too late for tickets to get to us. They hold them at guest relations, so you just have to pick them up when you get there. (Or, if you stay on property, they'll deliver them to your room.) Good luck deciding - we'll be going the same night!

I bought tickets for Tuesday Dec 10 last year the same day (I was waiting to see if the weather would be OK, it didn't look good until mid afternoon). It was definitely not sold out, it was not crowded. The previous year I bought tickets for Sunday night the day before with no problem. We're planning on Tuesday Dec 9 this year, I'm not planning on buying tickets until we get there. I want to make sure the weather is decent, otherwise we'll try for Thursday (we have CP reserved for Sunday). As far as I know, only Friday nights sold out last year. No nights are sold out yet for 2003.
