MVMCP 2011 Thread

My husband and I will be going... um... to one of them. I'm not really sure which, but we've already booked it. December 11 maybe?

It'll be our second MVMCP but the day we did our last one it was still really warm, so I was drinking my hot cocoa while wearing a tank top. I'm hoping this year it'll be at least a little cooler.

Be careful what you wish for. You should have been there last year. It was below freezing and windy some nights.......... On the up side, it certainly does thin the crowds!

We'll be there on Nov. 27! We went once before in 2005, when DD was 6 and DS was 4. Now they're 12 and 10, and we have another DS who will be 5 when we go. Can't wait!

We have snow predicted for this weekend. I would love to drink my hot chocolate in a tank top in November.

We will be going the night of November 18th for the first time. We just went to Disney for the first time in 20y with our then DD 2 y old 3 years ago and went back the next year also. This past year we stayed at Universal for something diffenent will never go back.. Will will be staying at the Royal pacific and getting a taxi to the MK for the night. I am so excited to go to the Christmas party. I just love Christmas. It is going to be a surpirse for out DD5 now.

Taking grandparents...and our two little ones (1) and (5). First timers!

???We have to do first parade...between the oldies and baby they turn into pumpkins early! Anywhere to sit and watch it (mom has bad hip). If not...when to line up to get front row on main street???

Can't wait to hear about the first party....what...ten days or so??? Yay!

Depending on my daughter's schedule we plan to attend either 12/6, 12/7 or 12/9.

We haven't been to a party in 10 Years!!! Can't wait!

I have the same thought process as you. We are planning on December 16th but I want to wait and see how the weather is before actually buying the tickets. I've told the family it's a chance we will take, and if it sells out, then oh well. We really want to go; but I definitely don't want to freeze or even worse, be cold and wet!
