MVMCP 2011 Thread

Going to MVMCP for the first time, first trip, on the first night we are there. December 14th.

Crossing fingers, toes and eyes for decent weather.

We'll be attending our first MVMCP on Nov. 18th I have been to 3 MNSSHP's so I can't wait to see how this party compares.

I will have to subscribe to your review. We did a MNSSHP and was wondering if attending a christmas party will be good when comparing the two.

had the bestest time at a MNSSHP - it was money well spent.

Woo! Hoo! 13NOV for us! Looks like there may be about 5 other families with us. I like that crowd level! 1st time for us too.

Question for IMACM and others that have done the party multiple times:
What ONE event of the party will you never skip? Or is your fav?

My husband and I went years ago before we had kids and loved it. 15 years later....2 DD13, DS10......never been to the MVMCP with them. We have been to WDW at least 4 x's @ Xmas time and I've always felt so guilty because the kids are so curious. It's just so darned expensive for a family of 4. This year we are splurging and finally going. Cannot wait!!!!!!

second disney trip..but first xmas one!!!!!

have an illuminations cruise booked for the 16th evening..if anyone wants to split it with us..room for 5 more i think 130$ is the half includes tip to boat captain..

what a great idea to share, I totally would except there are 7 of us (5kiddos).

As crowded as it gets. It WILL sell out.

That's not to say you can't enjoy yourself on a sold out night. Just don't expect to criss cross the park knocking lots of things on your "to do" list. You have to prioritize and go into it knowing you can't do it all.

I will be attending my first ever MVMCP on Friday, December 2. I am SO excited. I'll be going with a friend I met in 2009 through another Dis forum. Can't wait for our whirlwind 1.5 day visit to WDW. (First semi-solo trip for me .. no DH or DD .. Yikes!!!)
