Must resist buying cute purse!

Uh oh. I'm not usually into purses all that much, but someone posted this link on 2peas and now I'm in trouble. I just love this, it's so cute. But I have never spent that much on a purse. I'm trying to resist, I don't know if I'll be able to.

CUTE!! I like the cream and black and the pink. But $125 wow! That's a lot of dough for 1 bag. Think, that's 1 meal for 4 at Cinderella's Royal Table. Or 1 night at a Moderate resort. Which would you like more??

I can enable you by saying that it is an investment, and if you divide the cost by the number of times you will use it...it might justify the expense. Or you could ask for it for Mother's Day...that's valid...

Help to resist is much harder, because I saw a purse last year, that I bought then felt guilty about, and returned. And I have kicked myself about it ever since! So, I guess I'm really just an enabeler.

I don't know! I love the Mother's Day idea though. I think maybe I'll ask for it for mothers day and then if I don't get it I'll buy it anyway.

$125 is a huge amount of $$ for me to spend on a purse. I've never paid more than $25. And to think how much scrap supplies I could get with that same amount, well it's like buying 178 pieces of cardstock/patterned paper or 20 bottles of primas or 5 stamp sets. But thinking that way is just not doing it for me. I'd rather have the purse. Hmmm, does that mean I know I have too many scrap supplies?

Oh no, Buffy. Don't bring up WDW (yeah, like the DIS is the place to hang out for that LOL!). I've promised Dh that we won't be going back for a long time. But then I've already started thinking that poor Molly won't really know what WDW is like b/c she was so young for her first trips. Then I think how she's only 17 mos old and has been to the world 3 times already. Maybe I really do have a WDW addiction.

So anyway, purse or no purse. Hmm, it would be an investment you say.

I'd go for the lavender one (totally impractical) or the cream/black. Ok, I wouldn't spend 125 on a purse but we all have our "splurge" items, or should I say "investments". How much would you use or would you grow tired of it? And, how about that Mother's Day gift? Or, how often do you splurge on yourself?

I'm no help. I firmly believe in the need for buying something something totally frivolous every once in awhile. As long as it doesn't put you in the red or take away from something you need - go ahead and do a want if you can.

That's funny because in all the time I've known her, like over 3 years now, I can't say whether or not she usually carries a purse!

So it must be she really NEEDS this one so she can start carrying one!!

I've had D&Bs before and loved them, but I'm sticking with my Vera Bradley bag, it's big enough to hold all that kid stuff I need to lug around with me! But I know, you think they're ugly---but remember there was a time not too long ago you said Crocs were ugly too!!

No, but only b/c I've been sick with a stomach virus all week.

And I'm still undecided. I would kind of feel bad buying one b/c I'm going to a weekend crop the end of April. I think I'm going to ask for it for Mothers Day and then go from there. I don't want to be very practical though, I want the Lavender one.

Oh and Diana, I only said that I would wear crocs if they were like walking on pillows and what do you know, they are! But I do carry a purse, although half the time I leave it in the car. Remember my Burberry knock off, I got in NYC? I don't think your VB bag is ugly, just not my style. I actually think you got a pretty cute one. It was that one pattern I pointed out to you that i thought was just atrocious, imho.

I have it in Pink! it's not very roomy! haha but i'm used to carrying around diaper bags!! The exterior cleans pretty easily and it's super cute
