I'm will have a lot of high school graduation open houses over the next couple years and would like to get them something useful. So....what were your favorite gifts, what did you wish you had and what was just a waste? Thanks!

Lets all be honest here... cash. I had to buy a laptop, printer, and tons of specialized art supplies that I wouldn't want anyone else picking out for me for college, so cash was definitely the best gift.

I agree. Aside from the gift my parents got me, I much preferred money as a gift. I also liked getting gift cards to my favorite stores.
