This is our first trip to Disney. We are leaving in 4 days!!! We have 3 kids ages 6, 3, and 1. Since this is our first trip I really don't know what to expect. So, I am looking for some tips on things that will make our trip go a little smoother.

Thanks for the help.

The best tip I can give you IMHO, is to take a break from the parks everyday to recharge. We like to go back to the hotel for a swim/nap break so the kids are able to stay up later to watch the parades and fireworks. ALso, we like to schedule at least one sit down meal a day (preferably a character meal). They are usually buffets, which makes it easier for kids, plus the kids get to see the characters in a somewhat relaxed situation. SOmething else we do, which may not be for everyone, is to have a stroller for everyone, even the six year old. It makes it easier for her than trying to keep up with us, plus there is a lot of walking, and we go in July so it can drain a small child quickly no matter how active they are. Also don't get frustrated trying to do everything, there's no way you can in one trip. SO just take the time to enjoy what you're doing, and seeing everything through the eyes of your children. HAVE A WONDERFUL 1ST TRIP. I BET IT WONT BE YOUR LAST:D :D :D

Since your kids are so young, take frequent breaks as it will be hot. Don't stress yourself out trying to do everything. Try to leave your hotel early in the morning and leave the parks in the afternoon to rest or swim. Drink plenty of water!

You're on vacation, so enjoy!!

I agree with having a stroller for all of your kids. It is a lot of walking and very hot. We used stroller fans on our last trip and it helped a lot. There are fountains in most parks for the kids to play in so we always carry swimsuits for our boys as they don't like to walk around wet. We also carry crystal light to mix with water as it is easier to get them to drink more fluid if it is flavored. Have your camera and autograph book ready and have a wonderful trip. Make sure you bring sun block and diapers wipes etc since they are very $$ in the parks.
