We are taking our 5 month old with us to Disney next month. Any Disney related must haves we should make sure to buy/ bring for the room, stroller, etc? I got a cooler bag to keep with the stroller for her milk, a stroller fan, ice packs, and some new stroller toys to keep her entertained. As of now at 4 months, she doesn’t love getting out of the house much or going on walks which worries me… we went to lowes and she survived happily in her stroller for about 10 min and then started crying. She still naps every 2 hours or so. We are staying at the Poly luckily so we will be able to get back to the room fast if we spend most of our time at MK. any tips or supplies we should make sure to have?

Do you access to a freezer? If so, the PackIt type bags where you throw the whole bag in the freezer is great. Then you can supplement with ice as needed.

We took my then 5 month old grand daughter in Sept. Her mother had been taking her for long walks outside for about 2 months before they went so she was good with being in the stroller. She slept a lot of the time in the parks and I'll admit when Mom and Dad were riding rides and grand ma was babysitting, she was out of that stroller and in my arms most of the time. She loved being worn by her Daddy, that way she could see everything going on and was upright instead of flat on her back. He wore her in a harness thing with her facing forward. She rode a few rides, loved Figment so we had to ride it a few times, loved the Mexico ride, enjoyed Living with the Land. She didn't like MMRR, I think it was too dark some of the time and too jerky, she didn't cry but wasn't happy. She actually loved CoP too, she really likes music and colored lights so anything with those and she was happy. Make sure you take some sort of rain cover for the stroller and make sure there is some way to get air under it. We had a stroller fan on her at all times, it's hot in Sept. and when she was out of the stroller, I had another little hand held fan I kept on her. We always had damp cloths of some kind to wipe her down in the heat. Lots of diapers and a change of clothes. They used a dry formula that you just had to mix with water and thankfully, at the time she didn't like cold or hot water so water out of a water bottle was just right. We did get late starts so as to let her sleep as long as she needed and eat and play before we left for the park and went back to the resort every afternoon to get her out of the worst of the heat. I'm guessing they never stayed later than around 6:30 in the parks at night. It really was a matter of going on her schedule and if she was unhappy, we left and went back to the room. Her Daddy did a lot of sort of fast walking and going in zig zags when she was in the stroller because she liked that movement. We did rider swap a few times for me to ride a few rides I wanted and they could ride as many as they wanted. A lot of the times, I just sat with her while they rode or walked around with her showing her everything and singing to her. She had been watching MM since she was born so she loves him and any time she saw him, even if it was on someone's backpack she would laugh.

A stroller that can accommodate 5 month olds without using the infant seat. Having to use the infant seat was such a pain (especially because we took the busses).

been years but we found very few infant highchairs at TS. be prepared to have to pass around while eating if not able to sit up in child highchair. make sure you have counted her on any ressies
