Must have souvenirs?

Good evening everyone,

Just wondering if you have a favourite souvenir you purchased from Universal that you are really happy with. I am thinking of buying beer mugs for myself of the different houses while I am there.
We are going for our anniversary and the kids are not coming but so far have handled it well, any awesome souvenirs you would recommend for them?
I have already said I wouldn't pick a wand for them because as we know the "wand chooses the wizard".

So excited to get away and enjoy our mini vacation away.

I go cheap and do the coin presses

I collect all Simpson ones and cat in the hat penny presses

Easy and light to bring back on the plane

I'm with mac...my fave souvenirs are the penny presses

I drink a lot of tea, so I usually buy a mug or stein. LOVE fridge magnets, as they don't take up space, are usually under $5 each, and I can see them year round.

I also get a Butterbeer mug (HP fan here) and a Christmas ornament every year.

Keychains are also an affordable souvenir, but I can't stand bulky keys, so I skip those.

DH always buys a new shirt.

I love the candy jars from Honeydukes. We use them as coin banks.

My sister insists on wearing all her pins each trip. So now I have visions of you, covered in 1000 pins, trying to get through the metal detectors. I would sooooo pay to see that!

Only issue I had a couple of years in getting thru tsa with the many pins in my carry on

That year I broke the bank and bought 34 Hard Rock Cafe pins and 100 Disney/Universal pins

I am a coffee cup guy, it brings back memories every morning. I am thinking Margaritaville or Bubba Gump this trip, but I have had my eye on the doughnut one in Kwik E Mart the last few times.

I love my minion slippers I bought 2 years ago. Do they still have them? Mine could probably be replaced when I go in November

As much as I would love to buy a ton of souvenirs I never do. However, the last time I visited I got a Gringott's wallet since it's not only awesome, but it's something I'd always use. Also, one of the most desired things I've always wanted to buy, but haven't would be sweets from Honeydukes. I would think anything you eat, or frequently use would be an ultimate souvenir. It's not only amazing, but useful.

We love the set of Hogwarts house cups. We debate over who should use which one each time we use them.

I purchased a Harry Potter scarf and gloves. And they were worth it. Usable in the winter.

On the my gosh side, I have bought more candy in the Harry Potter candy story. I also collect pins.

The 'Thing One' and 'Thing Two', etc., stuff always cracks me up! Oddly enough, I can't get the rest of the family to go along with wearing clothes by the numbers.

I love my Duff Man koozie with a cape. Everyone always comments on it. My husband "collects" bottle opener refrigerator magnets.

I love pins, key chains, lanyards, and practial gifts. I have quite a few Christmas decorations that I am very happy with and use year after year. Every time I put them up I remember which trip I got it on. I have an ornament symbolizing my theme park trips for the last several years. Always put it in a box with the date of my trip so I can remember.

I do have several wands but they were given to me...
