gracias.

Mmmmm...love Schoolbread. Got to try it for the first time last November and it is definitely a food item I look forward to every trip now. That and a Kaki Gori. Yum!

School bread! Ha! Thats it. And i have seen all the food porn pics of le cellier and i wish i had made that adr for my christmas trip.

What is the kaki gori?

What is the kaki gori?

It's shaved ice with fruit syrup, sort of like a snow cone but less fake tasting. It's sold in the Japan pavilion.

We used to love the School Bread. Couldn't believe how big it was for 2.19.

This year, however, we were disappointed. They have changed the topping (which was still good) but we swore it was half the size it was before.

The dole whips did not disappoint. Everyone in the family got one (although my youngest got the float) and we all enjoyed it. It is a great snack especially when you are hot. Also not as filling as other ice creams for some reason.

As crazy as it sounds - I love the vanilla cupcakes with vanilla icing that they sell at Roaring Fork in the WL and I've seen them in the bakery at the MK. I look forward to getting one as soon as I arrive. Mmmmm can't wait!

What is the schoolbread like?

School bread is like a Boston Cream doughnut, but with a caramel & toasted coconut topping instead of chocolate glaze.

Disclaimer: I just thought it was OK & prefered the almond pretzel at the Norway bakery, and anything at the French bakery over that.:rolleyes1

I also didn't find the schoolbread to be anything special. I do enjoy the cloudberry horn in Norway, the Kaki gori and dole whip. Also be sure you don't forget the classics: the Mickey premium bar, nothing better than that:woohoo:

My newest "must eat" is the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. It's huge!
It joins a Dole Whip float, a No Way Jose from Beaches and Cream, schoolbread, and a visit to the Bakery in France as musts.

I love to get the Chocolate Mousse in France. :cloud9: The peach tea slushy drink at the kiosk in China is an AWESOME adult beverage!!! :faint: Take your time and savor that thing. That was the only thing I didn't want to share with my husband. :rolleyes1 Dang, it was good! I can't wait to get another. You can't really taste the alcohol in it either.

They say Starring Rolls at the Studios has plenty of awesome treats. If you haven't yet checked out the food picture thread you will find many delicious treats there. Oops, at first I typed threats instead of treats. Yep, they are a threat to my waistline!

My must does are always a cloudberry horn from the Kringla bakery in Norway and an eclair at the patisserie in France. Then again, I think anything at the patisserie in France will do.:lmao:

How come the Patisserie doesn't have a tasting menu? ;) :rotfl2:

Could you imagine the line for that one? :scared1:

here are my favorites:

seasons in epcot. the mashed patatoes are the best!
cape may buffet. best seafood.
50s prime time cafe. soo fun. get the fried chicken. yum!
planet hollywood and rainforest cafe
mickey bars! and turkey legs!
rose and crown in epcot.

Yep the Norway's Kringla Bakeri almond pretzel is really good, I never know till the last second before I order which one I will get the school bread or almond pretzel, but later in the week I get which ever one I didn't get then. DW loves the chocolate cake and usually always gets that at Kringla.

I vote for the beer and cheese soup at Le Cellier. I could eat a 55 gallon drum of that soup.

Don't know why I didn't say this sooner, I was only thinking of snacks.

The ribs, Crispy Mahi Mahi, lettuce cups & pot-stickers at Yak & Yeti are all AWESOME!!! Well I can't vouch for the Crispy Mahi Mahi myself but my husband says so. He loves it!

He also says that the duck with berry sauce at San Angel is amazing! This and the Crispy Mahi Mahi at Y&Y are two of his three favorite dishes of all time.
