We'll be staying off-site, so no dining plan for us. Most of what we experience at Disney is counter service for quick meals.

Two years ago we made ADRs for lunch @ Crystal Palace, breakfast @ Ohana, and lunch @ Sci-Fi. We enjoyed all of them, but especially loved Ohana.

Now that we are going back for another week, is there anything else we should consider a "must-do?"

I don't have any princess fans, so no need to fight off all the other little girls for those meals. :) And I don't really want to go to Prime Time because DS7 suffers from social anxiety and I think that could set him off.

Is there something else special that we would love as a family?

We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It's my girls' favorite meal while at WDW. We've gone for dinner there as well, but weren't as impressed.

Also, a must do for us is O'Hana's for dinner. Love, love, love the food!!!!! It's served family style, but they will accomodate younger kids with a different menu option, which is a plus if you have picky eaters like mine. Also, for the kids they teach them Hawaiian dances, give them leis, and have coconut races. It was delicious food, fun atmospere, and the whole family had fun being there. Since you mentioned you'd been there for breakfast, you may have seen they do the same activities but wanted to mention them in case they only do those things during dinner hours. We tried O'Hanas for dinner the first time this past trip (our third trip) and it left the strongest impression on us of the meals we've had while visiting WDW. You should try dinner now that you've had breakfast there.

I had such a hard time getting Chef Mickey res's last time. We "Settled" for Ohana - and loved it! I bet dinner is really good there - breakfast was fantastic!

Crystal Palace for breakfast early. This is a great breakfast buffet with made to order waffles/pancakes as well as a ton of selections. Even a little food bar for the kids. AHEM...my kids love the donuts. Yes, my kids... Anyway, the bonus here is that you are in the park and can hit Fantasyland right at opening. This is key for riding Dumbo without waiting. We usually knock out everything in Fantasyland by the time Toontown opens (although that doesn't matter at this time).

Ohana dinner was my dh's fave. I really liked Le Cellier myself..and dh raved over their house burger.

I also liked Rose n Crown for Illum...but the food itself depends on whether you like it. I loved the shepherds pie and sticky toffee pudding but dh didn't care for them much. but he doesn't care much for british food...and I love it.

We haven't done this one, but I'd say Tusker House breakfast at Animal Kingdom. It features Donald (outside), Daisy, Mickey, and I think Goofy. I really want to do this one, but because my kids love Minnie, we're doing Chef Mickey's instead. It's supposed to be a good breakfast! You can also do it early and get into the park early. And it is one of the less costly character meals.

Ohana for dinner is my family's favorite and always do Crystal Palace for dinner.

Agreed ... we did the Tusker House character breakfast with an extended family of 7 and had a blast!!! The characters were awesome and we have fab pics. With your young ones this would be fun.

A lunch or dinner fun experience at DHS is the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Warning the food is awesome home cooking and the portions are really huge. Be prepared to get scolded for not finishing your meat or veggies. Lots of fun for the kids.
