Hello! I am new here! I am very excited to have found this site! I am going to Disney World at the end of March. What are some 'Must Do' things that I should make sure to do while I am there? Please list favorite things that you love doing while you are there! Thanks!
:cheer2: :cheer2:

Some of my favorites include: eating a turkey leg, getting "pixie dust" put in my hair at the mainstreet barber shop, fp as many rides as I can. eating ice-cream, making a fool of myself in a silly way because no one will know me when I leave the park :goodvibes

I'll second what's already been said!

Go to Allears.net for any and all information on WDW!!!!

1. Get reservations for a character meal - my fav's are Garden Grill and Chef Mickey's
2. See and do as much as possible at each park - I know that is vague but I really mean it!
3. If you are staying at a Disney resort, get up and go to each park early, take a break and go back for a nap in the 1-3PM hrs., then head back for dinner at a park and more fun about 5-6PM.
4. Eat a Dole Whip at MK!

I know I have tons more...it's WDW...that's why you try to do and see as much as you can!

MARY'SMOM: What exactly is that all about...the PIXIEDUST from the Main Street Barbershop?? My DS is taking his DGF in March and she would LOVE to do something like that??? Can you explain to me what they will need to do?? Just walk in there and ASK??? Thanks allot....and here is some pixie dust right back at you. pixiedust:

Illuminations and fantasmic :thumbsup2

You absolutely MUST get your own set of Mickey Mouse Ears with your name stitched on them. This is a huge requirement, whether you wear them or not. A rite of passage!

:thumbsup2

EVERYTHING  Seriously, it is all a must see but it is impossible to see it all unless you have about a month. I suggest going to Disney.com and looking through the attractions listed and get as much info as you can. Compare that to your own interests and make them your must sees (initial) if you have the time, as I said, do Everything.

Of course all of the above are GREAT! pixiedust: But don't forget your on vacation, and its alot of walking. :thumbsup2 So take care of yourself, and rest your feet, take an afternoon pool break. I find this makes the rest all the better. If your beat, and can hardly walk (you won't believe the walking) (and I walk all day at work, and have to practice before we go) you become cranky & just don't enjoy it as much as possible. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Have a great time & PLAN, PLan, & plan!

My advice is:

1. Discover the little things that make the magic.
2. Do the entertainment and shows at the World.
3. Visit Epcot and explore, this is the most innovative park.
4. See SpectroMagic
5. Book those dinner reservations in advance.
6. Stay on-property
7. Plan

Discover the magic!

Take a Picture with Mickey ::MickeyMo and with the Cinderella's Castle as background...Ah! and take a ride in the Monorial...... :rotfl2:

I agree with the OP..ride Soarin at Epcot! It's something that shouldn't be missed!

buy a guide book and study it. Then, make reservations for most meals---it's sometimes hard to get in places, esp. dinner if you don't have reserveations. Then, choose your "must see" in the book and come up with a basic game plan. We always do at least one character meal--nothing gets you in a Disney mood better than that! :hyper:

If you are a coffee/tea/hot choc (etc) drinker, or just like having one, there are a few places that will engrave your name on a mug with an engraved Mickey logo on the front. Relatively inexpensive as well. I think I paid under ten dollars for mine. Nice little keepsake. :goodvibes I got mine in the MK on mainstreet, in the hand-blown glass shop--it's a few shops down from the bakery :thumbsup2

We just got back from WDW and you HAVE to go to "Soarin'" at Epcot! It was fantastic - fast pass is the way to go!
