We'll be headed to WDW for MVMCP 2005. We have 3 DDs who will be 5,4 & 2 at the time of their visit. Aside from character meal, what are some must do meals that would be great for my little girls? Thanks for the help!

Try Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian. Look at the menu for the "Mrs. Potts Tea". Even though there are no characters, it is something many small girls would like. It is much less expensive than the Princess Tea.

I think that is a great suggestion. I might try it with my 3 1/2 yr. old. Is it a dressy tea? I always bring casual clothing to WDW. Is this a difficult thing to book or can we just drop in? We will be there during a slow week.
Tara

I have gone in "park casual" (T-shirt, shorts, sandals) with no problem. I have also seen people in suits and ladies from a "Red Hat Society" dressed up. I have seen children all the way from park casual to princess outfits (Alice will fit in best).

It does not hurt to make a PS reservation. The Garden View Lounge as fairly small and sometimes they are fully bokked up.

My girls love Ohana. The learned the hula, hula hooped, and had coconut races. (They gave each child in the races gummy worms. That was a huge hit with my kids. )
My girls also love Whispering Canyon Cafe. The kids have stick horse races and did the hikey pokey... Also it's pretty noisy, so nobody notices how loud my kids are (a plus for me). :earboy2:
As far as character meals, we have done most of them. They love Chef Mickey's, CRT, and Cape May.

My princesses loved Cinderella's Gala Feast for dinner. We made it extra special by ordering the cinderella's slippers for desserts. They also like the Wonderland Tea Party at GF. Of course for breakfast CRT or PSB. There are tons of princess things to do at WDW.

My DD went to WDW for the 1st time when she was 6. The places she enjoyed were:
'Ohana for dinner
Storybook Princess Breakfast
1900 Park Fare for breakfast
50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch
Rainforest Cafe (the one at Animal Kingdom) for lunch or early dinner
Cape May Cafe for dinner
San Angel Inn for lunch (loved seeing the boats with guests on them float by... she also likes Mexican food)
Garden Grille for lunch

The afternoon tea at the GF is a must do for girls. My DD also love the 1900 Park Fare.

My DSIL and I have been taking our girls every summer for the past 5 years. They are now 8 and 6. Their favorite places are:
Chef Mickey's Love to do this our first night! (dinner)
'Ohana Hula hooping and "coconut races" for kids...
Kona Cafe for supper (awesome "Kids' Cone" dessert!)
Tony's Town Square for lunch (in the MK; they always get spaghetti and meatball)
Crystal Palace (any meal - we mom's prefer an early lunch!)
50s Prime Time Cafe My daughter LOVES this place!!
Have fun!

My girls say Ohana,( Hula hoops)
and
Teppanyaki (chopsticks, and watching them cook your food).

I say Marrakesh. I loved watching my 5 Y.O. bellydance.

The actual Alice tea party at the GF where you drop them off for an hour was a HUGE HIT with my girls last summer. They give you a pager so you can go have lunch while they are having fun. Alice and the Mad Hatter are there. THIS WAS A WINNER.

I totally agree with Alice's Tea Party, as well as the Pirate Cruise and Adventures in Cooking! All wonderful for the kids, and give the parents a bit of time for themselves!

Yes, my daughters also wanted to do the pirate cruise this coming trip, but I didn't feel too comfortable about it after talking with them. (My oldest has a life threatening peanut allergy.) It seemed they were much more accommodating at the Alice Tea Party. Oh, well...

My girls have also requested to go back to the Sci-Fi at MGM this trip. They loved sitting in the cars and watching the movies.

My 5 & 7 yr olds have love the Wonderland Tea Party and the Storybook Princess breakfast. They also liked CRT but I steered them towards the Storybook because it's easier for PS's. But if you've never done CRT, I think it's definatly worth the trouble to get a PS.
