Turtle Talk with Crush (if it's open for our trip), Journey into Imagination, Spaceship Earth, Soarin. What else am I missing? And how long should I allocate for these rides?

Thanks!

I think Maelstrom in Norway and the ride in Mexico are great for kids as well. My 4 yr old nephew loved them. :earboy2:

Thanks. Is Maelstrom scary? My 3 are a little timid! I know they'll like the Mexico boat ride.

Maelstrom is a dark ride. I don't know about taking a timid 3 year old on it.
We took my timid 5 year old niece on it and she HATED it! Wouldn't go on anymore dark rides after that! I couldn't even get her on Peter Pan because of Maelstrom. :guilty:

I know alot of people love that ride, but I don't get it. It's dark and dingy to me. The only good thing about it, is that it's nice and cool inside.

Not an attraction, but don't forget about the Kid Spots at each country in WS. Your children can make masks which are wonderful souvenirs! It's been a "must do" for us for years!!

And the Santas!

Although not a ride, my 5 year old refused to leave the Coca Cola station. Of course, the weather was in the upper 80's!

Unfortunately, Ice Station Cool is closed for rehab and there's been some speculation that it might not be *free* when it re-opens. I believe it is scheduled to re-open in December, but I'm not sure of that either. I just thought you should have a "heads up" -- we adults can (usually!) handle disappointment, but it's so difficult for the children.

Although the movie parts were boring for her my dd 5 LOVED the dinos inside Universe of Energy. She also like watching the dancing fountain as we call it behind Spaceship Earth. :maleficen

Last fall, DD (just turned 6) LOVED all the different entertainment at the different pavilions in WS. She especially liked dancing to the different bands- Mo Rockin' British Invasion, and Off Kilter. She also got a kick out of the Japanese drummers and the Chinese acrobats. The Living Statues were really cool, but I hear they are no longer there.

I agree with most of the suggestions but I would like to add to it. I recommend the ride in the Land. It is a great way to cool off and it is very interesting, in my opinion. If Wonders of Life is open, GO!!. I love that area. Cranium Command is a neat show and my kids enjoyed it. Over in WS, go to Canada and see "O Canada". Then go to France and see their video. As well as the show at the American Adventure pavillion. We really enjoy watching the shows in the Ampitheater outside and then listening to the Voices of Liberty inside before the show. Epcot is my favorite park. My DW and DKs love it too. Maybe not as much as I do but they do enjoy it. Hope that helps.

My 4 yo LOVED Test Track - but she's a real dare devil - she also really enjoyed doing the mask and getting her passport stamped! She enjoyed HISTA but was bored rigid on Universe of Energy and The Land! She enjoyed Journey into Imagination but refused to go on the second time as she didn't like the bit where Figment turned into a skunk!!!! ;)

My son loved every inch of Epcot when he was 4.5 yo. His favorite was Universe of Energy & it was the original show. The dinosaurs were a BIG hit. SE was also a favorite & became our family tradition of the Last Ride in WDW.
It was our first trip (and we thought only trip, lol) when he was that age, so we did everything. The only thing he didn't like that year was Maelstrom. He was timid & the combo of Dark & Trolls didn't sit well. He didn't mind going backwards over the Falls, but the Trolls really freaked him out.

Epcot is still his favorite Park & he's almost 17 now & has several trips under his belt.

I'm the OP. Thank you all for the great suggestions! We're planning on doing b'fast (11ish) at PSB at Norway and then hitting the big attractions before the tree lighting and Candlelight Processional (going at Christmas). Appreciate the insight as to what attractions to see!
