Cannot cut:

Sci Fi
Coral Reef
Akershus
Be Our Guest
Cinderella's Royal Table
O'Hana
Hoop Dee Doo

On the fence:

Rainforest
50's Primetime
Mama Melrose (with FANT)
Garden Grill
Crystal Palace
1900 Park Fare
Whispering Canyon
Teppen Edo

This is a total of 15 and I only have 13 nights. Two of these will have to pay out of pocket since we are doing CRT and HDD.

Thanks for any advice!!

Depending on where you live, you can go to a Rainforest Cafe outside the parks and you can also enjoy the same atmosphere of Teppan Edo at most Japanese restaurants around the country, so those are the 2 I'd cut- especially if you are really looking for that "Disney" experience. And this pains me to say, because Teppan Edo is one of our favorite restaurants!

Seems like the popular choice is Rainforest, which would be my vote, because I cut it myself! :)

I would cut 1900 PF... you're already headed to CRT, it seems from your signature that your crew is a little bit older, (youngest is 8?), you might not need both princess meals.

Rainforest cafe and I picked 1900 park since your going to CRT : ) you have some good ones planned!

I would cut the Rainforest Cafe and the Garden Grill or 1900 Park Faire. How many character meals with older kids do you really need?

Well.. this is a toughie. You can find Rainforest outside of Disney but depending where you live they can still be a trek. I love 50's for atmosphere but the food is mediocre at best. Never been to Mama Melrose. Garden Grill is nice, not a huge selection of food though. If anyone in your party gets motion sick I'd avoid it. I found I couldn't look at where the floor was moving around the base or I'd get dizzy. Crystal Palace and 1900 are similar, personally I wouldn't do both unless it's for characters. Whispering Canyon can be fun, and is different than what you've already got. Never been to Teppen Edo but I do hear that it's pretty comparable to other restaurants of the same style.

I totally agree for the exact same reasons. ;)

Hahaha...you are all so funny :) Thanks for all of the opinions. So far, it's looking like Rainforest is first to cut with 12 votes. This one is tough because we don't have one nearby. I am not even sure where the closest one is. I live in NE PA. Second place is 1900 Park Fare with 6 votes. The problem with both of these is something called.....a memory lol.

When we went to RCafe, we were waiting in the line to be seated at our table. My DD (now 15) leaned against the velvet rope and went right down on her butt. Plus she got her picture taken on the giraffe stool - she loves giraffes. As far as 1900 Park Fare, we had a really good Wicked Step Mother when we went. She and the Wicked Step Sisters were a hoot.

Uggghh~~I am never gonna weed these out!!!

Our whole family LOVES character experiences, even my husband and I.

I am though strongly considering taking out Teppen Edo. It it is one of our favorites and even though we do have one here at home, it is very expensive so we don't often take the whole family and go. But, the last time my DD went (the same 15 year old), she tasted someone's lobster and went into full aniphalactic shock. She had never tasted it before and has no other allergies. Kind of makes me scared to take the risk and take her back to a place like that with the possibility of cross contamination.
