I am heading to Disneyworld for my honeymoon the 10 of Jan and lucky for me I will also be 14 weeks pregnant. I have been craving mussels like crazy and am trying to figure out where to get the best ones at Disneyworld. Please help me :)

Flying Fish has a mussel appetizer. It'll still be open until Feb. 1. Be Our Guest also had a mussel appetizer that was good. I have seen Le Cellier have mussels but they are on and off the menu.

There are MANY places :). My wife LOVES mussels... some of her favorites include:

1) Artist's Point
2) Citrico's
3) Il Mulino, both as an App, and in Fruti de Mari.

This is just a guess - but given your situation? While some of the above are Appetizers - they exist at SIGNATURE Restaurants. In our experience, a good SIG has (several times) generated an up sized Entree from an item on the App Menu. So, if you really want LOTS of mussels? Ask :). There is a GREAT chance that you will be able to get as many mussels as you desire :).

... and ahead of time - congratulations :).

I have your answer!!!!! Background: My husband and I honeymooned 26 years ago on Prince Edward Island. Everyday we ate the delicious PEI mussels and we went to see how they are "farmed"...in crystal clear water hanging off ropes. Plump and delicious. Years of ordering mussels everywhere followed and some were good and some were great but NONE were like the ones on our honeymoon until........

December 7, 2015. Be Our Guest. Ordered the mussels. PEI Mussels! Haven't had them prepared so well since my honeymoon. Like butter. Tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Plump, perfectly seasoned. I would go to either PEI or back to BOG to get those exact mussels.

My husband really liked the mussels at Cape May. He ate his weight in them last time.

I also enjoyed the mussels at Cape May but would caution that because this is a buffet, the food can sit out for a while. If in doubt, I would definitely ask my wait staff about the mussels, explain the situation, and ask them how long the mussels have been out on the buffet. If a good waiter/waitress, they will actually give you a heads up on when a fresh pot is placed out on the buffet. I have also made myself terribly ill eating bad mussels (but not at Cape May or WDW). So I've seen the good, bad and the really ugly.

I am NOT a doctor, but I am a Foodie who pays attention.....

(Shell)fish is sometimes discouraged for pregnant women.

But if you insist:
