Thinking back over the Epcot Pin Event and the Great Pin Adventure, I have a lot of memories and made some interesting observations. Ok, I made some very whacked observations that probably make no sense to anyone but me but I am going to share them nonetheless.

Mad Strawberry is just as wonderful in person as she is on the board. Although I do have to wonder since the last day of the event she chased me down and told me I had to trade with her. I gave her the Mickey Pin Trading pin to go with the Minnie she had. In exchange she gave me the bird. I am not sure that was exactly what I was expecting from such a lovely lady. Now, whenever someone gives me the bird I will think of Barbara.

JudithM continues to be the mysterious closet Hallmark employee. For months I attempted to collect information about her such as where she was from and what her husband's name is. At each point she refused to answer. Based upon the information I now have, Judith's husband is either wanted by the authorities in the state of Maryland or he was Boxcar Willie famous hobo and recording artist. Either way, it was a pleasure meeting Beauford.

Nat's generosity and personality are larger in person than on the boards. Perhaps that is a result of all the cheese soup but my guess is that he is just genuinely a great guy even though he insists on rooting for a baseball team that has been cursed for nearly a hundred years. I do regret not getting to trade with Nat. I just wanted to page through his pin book and check out all the cool stuff.

Vince and Suzi have the cutest baby. I had never seen pictures of the child but I ran into them and their kid (literally) on several occasions. Although the child doesn't talk much, it is clear that he is in a loving family. I wouldn't mind changing that kid's diapers I can tell you that! Congratulations on your anniversary. I am honored that you both chose to spend it with us. Now about that Beaches and Cream Ice Cream, how come I wasn't invited. I even had a drop cloth so that I could sit in Nat's splash zone.

Zayne & Xavier's Dad, what can I say. Dude you scare me. No really, we were both so busy (me being normal and you being psycho) that we didn't get a chance to talk much. I had so much to ask you starting with those two tattoos. What a great idea! I would never have thought of doing that. I always get confused which arm to use to smack which kid. To label them is the perfect solution! No wait, are those kind of like a will? You have bequeathed each of your children an arm? Geez, I would never have thought of that. I used to have a chicken's foot where you could make it's claw move. That was pretty cool.

JamesD & Linda. I spent more time with you that week in Walt Disney World than I did with Trina. It was pretty awesome that you two made every Where in the World meet. Thanks for the trade for the CM character balloons, they are awesome! I can't believe that James worked on the Space Shuttle tiles and I worked on software to check the tiles. Congratulations on that Millionaire thing. Because of your knowledge and prowess, they changed the rules of the game to only allow someone to play once every 30 days. You are indeed the king of the trivia geeks.

Eeyore's Pal & Malcolm, I gotta say Malcolm is a shrewd pin trader, he picked the most valuable pin in my collection to trade for. In exchange for his pitching Tigger, I had to give up my Arizona Diamondbacks logo pin. I am honored to welcome you to the Diamondbacks family. I have to admit though, with a name like Robyn, I fully expected to see Eeyore's Pal in a red shirt with green tights. Of course I kept waiting all week for Malcolm to shake my hand and say, "I'm Batman!"

I have many more memories, but how about the rest of you? Let's hear about your observations.

Jeff

No, Jeff. I'm RobYn. You mean RobIn Perndwlr. She's the one who hangs out with Batman. I believe she usually does wear the tunic and tights, but it was just too darn hot for her regular attire at the pin event. I guess the print skirt set is her other costume. Who'd a thought? :D

And I know what you mean about Vince and Suzi's baby. Such devoted parents. They never left that child unattended for one moment!

Regarding something you mentioned in your trip report . . . I was absolutely shocked to discover that Jeannie (FANTASMickey) is a biker babe. Considering she pals around with Barbara (MdStrwbery), I think that DLR pintrading crowd must be pretty tough.

RobYn..........

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that's my SECRET identity!!!!

This was the first really big meet that I had been too. It was awesume. I met so many people my head is spinning.

Of course meeting you was one of the highlights of the whole trip Jeff. I don't think I have gotten to do the wave in years... It was an experience that I would haven't missed for the world.

JamesD what can I say you were a great partner in TofT... You really need to try the seat belt seat though the airborne feeling is a must.

Robyn you were a hoot that is all I can say...

Musing of Matt and Lauri... I am still not sure which one I was talking to at anyone time. They are experts in disguise and concelment you know. Whenever talking to either be sure to verify which one you are conversing with or they will fool you.

Dom it was wonderful to see you but I am not sure that everyone appreciated that fact when I pierced their eardrums at the River Grill...

Perdita thanks for all the rides. without you my busing would have been more time consuming and I would have missed so much.

Lori and Dean you two were so nice and I was glad to finally meet you. Do you suppose that in the next secret pin swap I will get one of you again???

Has anyone seen that little square pin with the Dancers on it??? I heard it is very rare and hard to find... HEHE

Thank you all for making the trip one of the best ever.

I would have to say tyhat this event was great... I'm still tired:) ... It was great to meet everyone and to see Jeff dance was a highlight.... I hope they do it again next year... The meet I mean...

I wanted to talk to you more too....but I was being very crazy....NAT'S Influence.....but there will be many more meets & I'm sure your not done stopping in our fair little area of Dizworld......so to the many meets ahead I am very anxious to get to talk to you more. Until then, glad to have met you & hope to see you real soon.
PLUS: I just got the tattoo so that when my alzheimers sets in I will be able to really beleive the kids when they tell me they are mine....I hope! LOL

Jeff, I cannot confirm or deny most things, but I can tell you I do not work for Hallmark & never have. I will admit to shopping there a lot :) - employees at one of my local stores know I buy a lot of Disney pins.
