Hi,
Can anyone tell me of their recent experiences at All star Music? We are arriving in 21 days and I cant seem to find anything to get me excited about this stay.

I just stayed there for one night in a preferred room for a Princess race. Pros:room was close to pool, food, and busses.
Room was clean
My 5 year old found the theme cute. Food court had standard selection and tasted good
Cons: sharing a double bed with another human
the noise was a little louder than I have experienced at moderates

This may have been mostly because we were facing the main pool and people getting off busses had to walk by our building, but even on the third floor I could hear the "woooo!" crowd come through, which was not so welcome when I had a 3:30 wake up call. I could also hear every flush in the building it seemed. Overall, it was cute and a great deal. I do not think the things I complained about would have bothered me if I didn't have to be up so darn early the next morning. Except the beds, we are all sprawlers with long limbs, we could not share double beds comfortably for more than one night.

My family and I will be there 3/24 for 8 nights in the family suites, so I'm curios to hear what people have to say as well :)

We like staying there, but admittedly spend very little time at the resort. I can hang out at a hotel and pool for way cheaper than Disney, so we totally get our Disney on while there. As a home base, sleeping, etc, we have not had any issues. Especially happy when they added fridges to all of the rooms.

It's been over 15 years since we stayed there, but we liked it, LOL. I mean, it's Disney! That's exciting in and of itself. :)

I have stayed at Music every year since 2009. I have stayed in rooms on the first floor directly across from the guitar pool. I have been there for cheerleaders, band, dance, football. I guess you could say I have experienced it all at this resort and yet we return every year (already have this years reservation set). My wife and I (we are in our 60's) love this resort for this main reason-the staff. We love the attention we receive. I guess you may say I am outgoing and I love to talk to people. I greet every person I meet so it's no surprise to me when people respond positively to that. I email the staff regularly. I just got an email from one of the ladies who works in the gift shop asking when we were planning on coming down. The girls were talking about us and were wondering when they would next see us. I have NEVER had any problem with my stay at Music. The rooms are always clean. The food is great. We have never been awakened by loud, rowdy mobs of teenagers as I have seen reported in previous posts. The activities around the pool in the afternoon brings a smile to our faces as the youngsters scamper about enjoying themselves. We never seem to have to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus and for those who say we share, that's a misrepresentation of the facts. Yes, you share buses with the other All Stars, but only in the afternoon when there is little to no line waiting for a bus. Whenever I needed to make a dining ressie change, the concierge was always able to assist us. We always check out other Disney hotels but eventually we make the decision to return to our home away from home, All Star Music.

Thank you so much for this.

We are going to try the family suites for our upcoming visit in June. We just did the Fort Wilderness cabin in November. We loved Fort Wilderness; the kids loved the cabins. I found the bed to be very uncomfortable because the floor seemed slanted in the bedroom and it felt as if the bed was tilted to one side. I would still try it again though. Our main reason to switch to All-Star music was to save a little bit of money, which we allocated toward one more day of park tickets. Also, I'm looking forward to the convenience of the food court, pool, etc. Counter service meals and getting to/from the kids pool play area were really not quick or convenient at Fort Wilderness so that will be nice.

LOVE!! We live in FL and when we want to go for a quick weekend this is our go to. We always request a room in the Broadway section. It is quiet and close to the quiet pool but not to close that you hear the noise. The theme in the The broadway section is as nice as any moderate and very quite!!! The walk is not as long like Pop Century to get to the food court or bus. The rooms are cleaner then Pop in my opinion.

I haven't stayed there recently but realize with the All Stars, you share all with the other two resorts so you get six pools and three food courts and can walk to each one easily. You can also walk to get to the other bus stops and you can enjoy things at all three.

Not a big fan of the All Stars personally but when we do stay there, it's extremely nice to know that either in the morning or after the parks, we can take a nice stroll and see tons of things other than right out the window.

Well, I'm heading to Movies in three weeks...I know, it's not Music, but it's basically the same. I've stayed in Music several times. The last time I was in Country Fair, all the way to the back, on the backside of the building no less. It was sort of a hike to get to the food court.
But, here's the thing...I own DVC at BW and BLT. I love my stays at those resorts. I also love my POR!! And I've come to really like CSR. I've stayed at just about every resort on property. Am I excited to be staying at Movies? Sure. It's Disney. No, it's not my all time favorite. But, it's clean, it's cute and fun. I may stay, on occasion, with one other person. I don't share double beds, so three people in the room is a no go for me.
Go and have a great time!!!! Your stay will be what you make it!!!

I stayed there when I was in high school with the marching band and it was fun! We were in the Country Fair area and the rooms were nice! We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room, but it was still nice on the budget we were on. I loved the one pool, I think it was shaped like a Radio or had a Radio by it?

Hiya!

I stayed All-Star Music last year (May 2016) with my sister and niece. I have to say when I first found out that that is where we we're staying I wasn't too thrilled. Being a moderate resort goer myself (POR & CB) I felt as if it would be lack luster. Well, let me start by saying you really won't be too disappointed. It does in fact give you the Disney feel that we all love so much staying on property. I was so pleasantly surprised by the resort that (when the prices finally come out!) I'm staying All-Star again (May 2018)! We never felt too crowded or had a long bus wait either. I would definitely recommend the All-Stars Resorts who want to save a little money but still get that all inclusive Disney feel!

I LOVE Music and have at least a dozen stays there! If you are concerned about noise, request TOP floor, landscape view. I've NEVER had issues in any of my stays there! The bus sharing at All Stars is WAY overstated. You MAY share a bus during slower times, but IMHO it is NO different than the multiple stops within CBR, CSR and SSR to name a few. Music also tends to attract more adults on a budget and is a bit quieter than the other values.

The landscaping is lovely and the themed areas appealing. The fountain at night is romantic and when the roses there are blooming, it's extra special. While Country Fair is the farthest away, it is also very quiet.
