I like a lot of different genres. It all depends on the song.
My favorite song for 3 years straight is Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I don't want it to change.
It kind of annoys me how today, with my friends, they obsess with one song and then a few days later it's "Ew, I can't believe I liked that! I like ___ now."

I honestly listen to a little of everything. Rap, indie, alternative, rock (and all its sub genres, way too lazy to list them, ahah), folk, electronica, techno, hip hop. I especially like songs with a good beat; I like peppier songs more than slow ones.
however, I REALLYREALLYREALLY like the garage rock revival bands. They're amazingly fantastically wonderful.
The Strokes, The Vines and The Hives are probably my favorite bands, tho I think The Strokes are at the top of that list.

I just got an acoustic-electric guitar, but so far I'm still really lame at it. It kills my fingers, haha. I can't even play a chord right yet, but I'll keep trying.
