Music Question

I am trying to decide what music I want during the ceremony, and I can't decide what music I want for myself or DF. For him, I thought about "One Day My Prince Will Come", but then I thought...."does HE want his prince to come??".....

I just can't seem to get all of my ideas right in my head . Things have been quite wacky here lately, especially with his dad being so sick (we just found out he has a disease that is turning his skin and organs to "stone").

But, on a lighter note.....What music for the ceremony did you or are you planning to use?

"Here Comes the Bride" organ
"Circle of Life"
"Traditional Processional" organ

So sorry to hear about your fiance's dad. I can imagine that makes thinking about anything else difficult.

We're having a tough time with the music too. I've read a lot of people comment here that everything was going by so fast that they didn't pay attention to what was played and couldn't remember - that helped me stop stressing. I know our first dance is going to be Once Upon a Dream. I agree with the "Prince" song...my DF said the same thing. I listened to the Fairytale Weddings CD on amazon (of course it was only 30 sec worth) just to get an idea of what some things would sound like instrumentally (don't know if that's a word). We've narrowed it down (we think) to "A Whole New World," "Beauty and the Beast" and "So This is Love" for the ceremony but don't know when they'll be played. I also really love the "Something There" song from BATB - I'm thinking we'll use that when the first people are seated since it's a bit peppier. We get the organ since in we're in the WP but I don't know if I want to do the standard bride songs. I wanted people to have fun trying to figure out what movie the song is from.

Hello there, Here is the music that we are planning on using for our ceremony. Entrance of moms and seating of grandparents: House at Pooh Corner (a beautiful song that I am unsure of who sings it but it is so beautiful and it means a lot to my mom) Groom and ushers: Yo-Ho! Yo-Ho! A Pirates Life for Me (Theme song, you have to understand my fiance...the biggest 5 year old I've ever met! POTC is his favorite ride and this song being played at our wedding is a dream come true for him!) Bridesmaids: (Once Upon a Dream) Me: When you wish upon a star. Unity Candle: Can you feel the love tonight. And recessional: Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah! (I am the biggest 5 year old and love splash mountain soo much!!!!
