music playing pin

A friend of mine gave me a musical pin, but silly me I cant figure out how to play the music???? Im thinking maybe the batteries are dead, or Im just not pressing the right thing

Most likely just dead batteries.
I don't recall those types of pins being out for a long time. Pinpics should list a release date for you too.
