Music of Pixar Live question

I would really like to do this on our upcoming trip but I am having difficulty trying to find a way to fit it into our schedule (we are doing a combo WDW vacation/house hunting trip so we don't have as much time in the parks as we usually do). Has anyone done this without the dining package? Is there a separate area for those doing the dining package like with Fantastic, ROL, etc. or is this something you can only do with the dining package? It would work much easier with our schedule without trying to figure out how to schedule both a meal and the performance. We have time to get there in advance to wait for quite awhile. How far in advance is a standby line forming?

1. Yes.
2. Nope.
3. Arrive 45 min. (or more) before showtime.
