Does anyone have any information or know when/if hey are extending this? Me and the DH are die hard Pixar fans and we really would love to see it!

I am also hoping for an extension. Our trip starts the week after this ends and I was really hoping to catch this because I love orchestra music like that.

I don't know if they will or not, but I certainly hope it sticks around! My teen daughter and I saw it last week, and absolutely loved it. It was a good reminder of the power of music in a movie, and it was also a relaxing break from park craziness.

That being said, I was so disappointed in how many guests left during the show. Some left after only a couple minutes. It was such a distraction, and just so rude. We had a large group stand up right in front of us, during a song, and thought nothing of leisurely packing up while completely blocking our view. It was some of the worst behavior we experienced, and I'm not talking about people with little kids who HAD to leave. I wish people were more open minded to what this show is.

It was really boring imo. But as courtesy to the people in it and the people watching I stayed the whole time.

Fair enough, for sure. Not every attraction is everyone's favorite, but I'm glad that you pointed out respect for the performers, too! I couldn't help but wonder how they felt as people streamed out.

I was really hoping they'd extend the show so we could catch it on our September trip. But because nothing's been announced the show is slated to end so soon, I'd be really surprised if they came out with an announcement.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong though! It seems so moving and refreshing.

I had heard it several times on DPark Radio, so I knew what the show entailed. It was a wonderful show to see live (I caught it the day I went to do my final GMR trip). If you enjoy going to classical music concerts, this was for you. If you were looking for a Pixar character stage show, then I can see why you would be bored or disappointed.

I believe it's pretty certain to be ending.
Also, I think there may be come crossover between the musicians in this show and those who will perform in the CP, so they may well be needed for it and have to end Pixar Live!
DH and I love it and are going to one of the final performances next week.
This time I'll be prepared with more tissues

It's too bad, this would've been a good permanent attraction, something nice and different. The park needs as much entertainment as possible with the lack of attractions currently

I really enjoyed the show. I had been to HS a couple of times for a few hours, but made a special trip back to see it a few weeks ago and didn't notice many people leaving during the 8 PM show. I thought it was great they were employing actual live musicians!

I wonder if they're contract musicians and are brought in as needed because other than the CP, where else would they be used at WDW?

That's nice of you to wipe down the benches?

I know what you mean! I thought after listening to the show so many times I would be immune to tearing up, but seeing the visuals with the music set the waterworks flowing without a tissue in sight.

Yeah. That's what the tissues are for, the benches

I can't think of any other use of live musicians. I guess they'd be contract. Makes sense that they are. Though I haven't a clue if these are the same folks or not. Just sort of guessing some at least could be. And may be why they aren't doing it longer. All just speculating

We took an unplanned weekend trip a couple of weeks ago, and we made it a point to see this show. I don't go to many concerts, but I really enjoyed this show. Also, it was fun watching the pre-show with the green army men.
