I am thinking of making a CD of music from wedding as a gift for guests. We are thinking of doing our Rehersal/Welcome dinner at Ohana. Does anyone have any music they can think of that would be good to add to the CD from Ohana or the Poly. We are hoping for an Illuminations desert party and will include this music and maybe a Wishes cruise and include this music. We have eaten at Ohana many times but cannot think of a specific song that would be good for this. I need to look back at some old videos from when we have eaten there and see if I can find something.
Thanks,
Linda

WE had our dinner at Ohana's - we put Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride on the CD for this! I always hear it at Ohanas.

Great suggestion - I love that song. What other type of music did you put on the CD. I was thinking of starting off with Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast.

We included music from our wedding - ceremony music, then we had some music from our reception, First dance, father daughter dance, last dance etc, then we had some music from the DP at epcot.

I got married at Poly! I am also a dance teacher and my students do Hawaiian dancing. I have a list of songs you can use.

Rock a Hula - Elvis (this was playing in the gist shop after I said I do and I
started to do the dance my students to do this song
right in the middle of the gift shop in my wedding dress!!
It was great!)
Little Brown Gal - not sure
Hawaiian Rollercoster
Hukilau
Hawaiian Wedding Song - elvis

Hope this helps. If you need anything else just let me know!

They are just great. I'll have to start a list.

For those that did the CD, did you give it out in jewel boxes and if so how did you personalize the cover. Also, what about the CD itself - did you put a lablel on it. I have not gotten into putting pictures on the computer but would love to personalize the CD.

We used a relatively new CD/DVD burner called a "LightScribe". There is no label on the CD/DVD at all; an image of your choosing (in our case, one of our engagement photos) is burned directly onto the CD/DVD. It was a huge hit at the wedding.

WOW - that is just wonderful - I will definately look into this. You did an amazing job.

Thanks,
Linda

There is a wonderful thread on the DIS with links to downloads of the actual music used in WDW, including the hotels. It's really long, but the first page is constantly updated with new links. I got a ton of great music played at the Polynesian that way - might be a good way to round out your mix.

Also, office supply stores have packages of blank CD labels and jewel-case inserts you can print on at home. That's how I make all my compilation CDs. I like to use glossy photo paper and cut it out by hand for the inserts, though.

I'm at work now but will have to check out this site for more music. I've seen those type of labels for CD and am considering them also - actually printing on the CD looks great though. I have never used the labels - I know they are for CD's but I am always afraid they will make the CD get stuck.

If you need me to send you any music just let me know. I will be more than Happy to do that! I will be back in Disney the end of this month as my students are dancing in the Magic Kingdom! :cool1:

Thanks so much for your offer. I do not think I need anything now (except a trip to WDW). I will try going on the other website either tonight or over the weekend. Lucky you - you get to trave to WDW again. We live in NJ but my boyfriends dad and aunt live in Orlando so that gives us many excuses to travel there.

I tried going on your website to check out your wedding pictures and it says it is no longer available - but picture in your signature is great.

Thanks. I know my site expired already! I just got married in July! I am original from NJ. I just moved to Virginia Beach 2 years ago! I grew up in Morris County!
