Thought I better get started on the trip reports, no pictures till wedding day though lol.
Ok
so here goes
Well todays the day to go, on our plane today theres me, chris, mum, dad and my brothers family consisting of 6 more people!!!
Every try to get a dress as poofy as mine into a hand luggage case, dont!! lol took me forever and I had it on my knee whenever possible.
We flew out from Manchester on the 20th January, with Travel City Direct, xl one. Which I have to say was very good, I was very pleased with the seats and service. It took a very long 9hours 55 mins to get to Sanford as there were head winds strongly against us.
It was a very long and uneventful flight, and guess what!! Chris wasnt took away at customs!!! woohoo put a mark on the calander.
Everything got there ok dress's and suits included.
We picked up our hire car from Alamo and said goodbye to the family as they are staying in a villa and we are staying at the Grand Floridian.
Fats forward to our nightmare check in at the Grand Floridian, they wouldnt let us check in at first (bear in mind I have now been up for 24hrs and Im stressed about the wedding) as they couldnt find me name on the system. then they could but said we hadnt paid, we had so I wouldnt give them my card details. So they said we could stay in a held room for the night and sort it in the morning, can you imagine how upset I was. I ended up gushing at check in.
Anyhow we had to leave it till morning so we stayed in Sago key that night till we could get sorted.
Fast forward again to 9am the next morning, I was awakened to my dad at the door, red angry for having been called last night about the problems I was having. Disney were not his fave people that day and I am afraid they arnt right now either. Anyhow me and him went to sort it out and guess what it was there error we had paid in full 6 months before it was due. apparently there were alot of crawshaw on the system. Anyhow as an apology they upgraded me and chris to the concierge in the main building which was wonderful (as I wasnt too happy about walking through the hotel grounds in my dress)
Our room was beautiful and was on the fourth floor facing the lagoon. It had a balcony, but I didnt go out very often as heights dont agree with me.
Anyhow we went to the Magic Kingdom today and had a ball it was so ice to have a day off wedding plans, thats all I seem to have heard for the last year. And after the year I have had I needed some fun. Space mountain was my fave ride of the day. I went on with my neice Jordan and she laughed all the way around!
We went to the golden corral tonight for tea, now I didnt rate it as buffets arnt my thing, and it was very crowded. but my brother said it was great value for them.
Well I dont know what else to write, I will do my wedding day either tonight or tomorrow with pictures. You will get to here about the suprice my dad gave my and about Disney forgetting to film the wedding (not a great thing at the time but its sorted now)
