Murphy's Law Hits Poor Murphy

So I guess tonight at the first Fantasmic showing Murphy the dragon fell and the second showing had to be canceled. Poor Murphy. He really has had nothing but bad luck.

Yea, the park takes a beating during the summer. Even the rides are feeling it.

I was there for the show tonight! My vantage point was from the left side of the RoA near the Harbor Galley. I knew it was bad news when Murphy lean forward and then kept on falling forward to a 45 degree level and bobbed for awhile heh. The music continued to play for a bit up to the firebreathing portion but he didn't breathe fire.

The water projectors were then turned on and lights dimmed to conceal the bobbing Murphy. In the darkness you could see a few supervisors come on stage, shoo Mickey backstage and used flashlights to figure out the problem. The Mark Twain did float by with the characters as I was leaving but no firework pinwheels or music played.

Sorry to everyone that missed F! because of Murphy's woes. Hope he gets fixed soon!

OH NO! We have the dessert seating tonight and all DD can talk about is the dragon. Better prepared her on the drive down.

The water screens were kept up to hide Murphy. New Orleans was treated to a foul smelling mist of water for the rest of the night.
