"Murphy" The Fantasmic Dragon returns!

Sorry if this is old news - but I didn't see it posted anywhere yet.

I was at Disneyland yesterday for the start of the Holiday Season, and decided to watch the second showing of Fantasmic. To my (incredibly awesome) surprise, the dragon is up and running again after being down since the end of August. I'm not sure how long it's been back, but judging from the crowd's reaction (it erupted in a very loud cheer), I'm guessing it was either it's first night back or fairly recently back.

Just thought you'd all want to know!

Thanks for posting. There had been talk about it returning, but good to know that it happened. We have never seen Fantasmic, and are looking forward to watching it in a couple of weeks. Hope its still working then!

We leave in 12 days and my daughter was pretty bummed that Murphy was out sick. Me too, since we actually ponied up for the dessert viewing for the first time.

Murphy came back on Friday the 12th, and I saw her last night at the 10:15 showing. Interestingly enough, no one cheered or screamed, so I'm wondering if people didn't know she was gone. Even the people next to us, who were saying the lines along with it didn't react, and they obviously were not seeing Fantasmic! for the first time. I was too busy jumping up and down and squealing to actually cheer, lol, otherwise I totally would have.

Anyway, there was a weird little indent on her stomach that probably only those of us who were looking close enough noticed, but other than that, she looked great!

Thanks for posting the photos! My girls haven't seen Fantasmic in many many years so it was nice to show them the photos. We're so glad Murphy is back, I would have been disappointed if we hadn't seen her on our next trip!
