I was just looking at the menus in the dining section here on the DIS. I saw this murder mystery/dinner show at the Grosvenor Resort in Downtown Disney and thought it sounded interesting. I think my older daughter would really enjoy something like this.

I did a search on this forum and didn't really find much. (did see that Cruisinfamily was asking about it - maybe he/she has some input)

If anyone has done this show, how did you like it? Was it worth the money and was the food good? Any help at all would be appreciated.

Looking for something different to do since I just read the thread about 'Ohana having gone downhill so much - I need to replace that meal with something else fun.

Murder Watch Mystery Dinner Show
Famous All-You-Can-Eat Prime Rib Dinner Buffet

Dw and I did years ago. I'm talking 1996. I can't believe it is still running so that must tell you something. the show was fun and the food I do not remember. I do remember sitting with a good group at our table. Give it a try

We did this in 2001 with DS 15 and DGD 14, they loved it. DS still talks about it. The food was OK, not as good as Disney buffets, but still OK.( I think all Disney Rest. are excelant) They get you really into the show.

:wizard: My Mom and I also did this back in 1996 and had a fun time. I remember that it was a prime rib buffet but don't really remember much about the food. LOL The show was fun too! I would like to do it again. Try it out! Rebecca

FYI-- looking at mousesavers.com and i see the entertainment/orlando book has baskervilles in it........not sure if it for the murder mystery dinner though-- might want to check into it though. :confused3

Thanks for the replies. Maddhatir - I will check the entertainment book. I'm really thinking this might be something that I do as a surprise. My dd's help plan all of our other meals so this would be fun.

If you go to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board, I believe there have been some discussions about this restaurant/attraction there.
