Muppets officially coming to Liberty Square

This is weird but interesting. Are these going to be actual muppets performing though?

After a closer reading of the article I realize this will be outside, and the article says it will be a live show. So it looks like this will be a live performance of some kind - perhaps live puppetry - which actually seems more appropriate to the time period of Liberty Square than something digital like a window.

I think some of the puppets will be performing from the Windows though.

That makes total sense. The town crier guy will probably be outside and then the windows will be the puppet stages, or house the animatronics or whatever. The windows could open up for showtimes and then close. Hmm, I'm started to get really excited for this. LOL.

That's exactly how I think it's going to happen.

I think the show will be in the Windows but the puppets will be doing the show from there. As I understand it this will be live puppeteers.

This exciting news and a great way to put some new life in Liberty Square! I'm really now interested to see how this will be done (just another new item to look forward to next summer). Although I wonder if this is a temporary thing until the Muppets area in DHS is done, anyone know?

Obviously this isn't a huge edition to the MK line-up, but a welcome one none the less. My family loves the muppets and will definately stop to enjoy this show.

But, regardless, we love the Muppets so will be happy to see any show they have, whereever they have it.

I thought the same thing. Now I'm curious about something. If you look at the construction photos of PizzeRizzo in DHS, the building at the end has a series of windows very similar to the MK set up at Heritage House. I wonder if this show at MK is a test of something going into Muppets Courtyard at DHS later? Maybe not if they've written a song specifically for the MK show, but perhaps something in both locations?

Either way, I'm just happy to see the Muppets getting some more attention.

I was thinking earlier how smaller additions like this are so special, and such an important part of Disney parks. I agree that it's very welcome news.

Muppets in Liberty Square spinning humorous tales about historical events? Yep, it fits and should be a great addition to the area. No problem from my perspective.

I'm with you for about everything (though I won't completely crush the Epcot idea til I see what they are putting in), but I don't know, I expected more backlash (and don't get me wrong, I'm happy that there isn't. Like I said, I really like this concept).
