Muppets Merchandise?

Hi all,

My little ones have become very big fans of The Muppets and I'm wondering if there is much merchandise showing up at the parks with the release of the new movie. I was at WDW in January and there was very little; we're hoping there will be more when we visit in August.

You can find a few things mixed in, mostly what you find at the Disney store currently. There is a outdoor shop outside of Muppets 3D in DCA that has all Muppets themed items.

There was more of a selection in November when the movie came out.

In January they still had some Muppet vinylmations, Kermit ear hats, and a few muppet pins. Also D-Street in Downtown Disney had some really awesome Muppet shirts and some custom vinylmations.

They also have the Muppets/Star Wars crossover figures in Star Trader. I couldn't resist getting another Dirth Nader, especially since it came with Sam Eagle as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Camilla as a Stormtrooper.

threadless.com has some super cute Muppets t-shirts. If you go to their website, you can type Muppets into their search box to see the selections. And you can narrow it down to kids sizes (by clicking on the appropriate box on the left). My kids are not into the Muppets at all, but the shirts were so cute and colorful (love the alphabet one!!!) that I considered purchasing...

Oh those are cute. Redbubble.com is another great source - my husband and I spent hours one night looking at all of the Muppets and Star Wars inspired shirts. Thank you for reminding me to revisit these sites and grab a shirt or two for our upcoming visit.

with the movie coming out on dvd on 3/20 they were handing out free Muppet snap bracelets at the entrance to world of disney store.
build a bear has miss piggy and kermit as someone mentioned and I believe it might be exclusive to that store.
There is a muppet merchandise stand usually right in front of muppet vision 3d but I don't know if they've moved that since electronica came in or not.

OK, we were just there last week, and there was no Miss Piggy or Kermit... I am SO jealous now! They definately would have come home with me!!

The merchandise stand was still there last year (post-ElecTRONica) but it hadn't been all Muppet for a long time. It's been maybe only 1/3 Muppety any time I've checked the past few years.

I can also confirm that the newly reopened Build-a-Bear in Tigard does have Kermit and Piggy, along with Kermit tees. (I guess Miss Piggy dresses too, but they don't have her face on them or anything)
