My 3yo is OBSESSED with the Muppets. We’re currently watching the premiere of the new Muppet Babies show today and I started thinking of the couple Muppets things we can do on our upcoming trip.

We didn’t get to do Great Moments in American History last time since we left early due to Irma.

Do people wait for the shows to start? Or is it more like people walking by see it starting and congregate? I can’t picture the setup. My basic question is - if I want my 3yo to see, do I need to get there early? Or is viewing pretty good from almost anywhere around there?

There is a little bit of a rock wall to sit at also . You should be fine getting there a couple minutes early, I was a couple minutes late and couldn't see the "mc" guy that was on the ground talking but could see all the muppets just fine. It's cute. Don't forget about the beeker show in Epcot, I can't remember the correct name but it's also cute and interactive.

It is also nice that the Muppet characters are up high in windows so she will be able to see no matter what. The town crier is on the ground and can sometime be difficult to hear but the real show is the Muppets. Both of you will love it! There are also two different shows but there isn't a way to know which one will play until it starts. We saw it twice last year and got the same show both times.

I'm also a big Muppet fan! I agree with pps that you can get there close to show time and have a unobstructed view. I've walked up mid-show and been fine too. Other than the mc guy, I believe the Muppets are in the second story windows of the buildings so people standing in front of you don't really block the view. Sometimes we go across the walkway in front of a store (I think it's a Christmas shop but I can't remember) where there are some trees/shade and we can still see. It's such a fun show - hope your 3yo enjoys it!

Thank you for reminding me about this! I forgot about it! We saw it happening from afar in Sept. but that was before her Muppets obsession started. Added to the list!

We saw this on our most recent trip and loved it. I only wish we'd seen both performances, since we only got to experience the Paul Revere episode.

Honestly, I laughed harder at this show than at anything else on our vacation. Love the Muppets! And it was incredibly easy to just show up and watch. Check the MDE app for showtimes.

I've been wondering what the other show was! We saw it twice and both time it was the Declaration of Independence haha

If you ask the CM's just outside Hall of Presidents, they usually know which shows will be at each time. Like others have said, if you show up one minute before the show starts, you will have a front row spot. If you show up one minute after it starts, you will still be able to see the Muppets in their elevated position but will have an obstructed view of "JJ" the town crier.

DW and I saw the show this morning. We had just come out of a FP+ visit to the HM and I noticed the Town Crier wandering in front of the Hall of the Presidents. It was about 11:25am. We found a place to sit on the wall across from the HotP. Just as we sat down the windows where the Muppets appear opened. There were a few people waiting. The show started promptly at 11:30am. Once the Town Crier started the show the crowd built up quickly. Since the Muppets appear in windows up high it is easy to walk up and have a good view of the show.

We arrived a few minutes early, maybe 15. There was a photo Pass photographer right in front of the liberty bell. He took some photos for us, then told us to sit on the bricks across from Hall of Presidents (by the Christmas shop). He took our pictures with the Hall of Presidents behind us. Then we noticed the town crier and decided to stay in our seats. It was the perfect spot. It's all over head so the view is never blocked. There's also lots of shade where we were sitting, it was very comfortable.

My 14 year old son loves history and the Muppets, it's a perfect pairing. I only wished we would have stopped by for another show. Returning in August, I don't know how long the whole family will last outside in the heat. I'll have to see if they have evening shows. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Muppets Mobile Lab! I completely forgot about that!

Where do you find the schedule for this?
